Poll: de Blob or de Blob 2

Hey Wii fans.

I'm picking up a Wii soon, and de Blob has piqued my interest. The question is, should I get the first or second game? or does the game get boring quick?

From game review sites I noticed de Blob 1 rated higher, only slightly, so it made me wonder. I don't have the money or time to pick up both.

I'm a fan of good games, casual-hardcore, whatever.... so help me out here guys. Which one is more fun/has more content/multiplayer/etc.... Should I pick up de Blob 1, 2, or skip it?

de blob 1 is free on the pc, it's definitely worth a look at to see if you like it!

Really, I suggest both: 2 introduces more variety but 1 has fewer hand-holding mechanics; I had a lot of fun with both of them and the mature theme of using art to rebel against oppression is presented brilliantly with childish aesthetics, thus allowing ageless appeal.

That's what I noticed in reviews. Is the hand-holding in 2 really that bad?

edit again: get de blob 2 since you can just play it on the pc, you get 2 games for the price of 1!

I haven't played the PC or Wii versions of 1, but they seem different enough. The PC is very basic, just rolling and painting, while the Wii version is more of a platformer.
