I loved DMC1 as a kid, played it to hell and back. Quiet a few scares in the beginning back then too.

Loved DMC3, never managed to beat hard mode though :(
But my top is DMC4, can't reject that.

I also saw the anime twice >:D it wasn't bad, just short...really...REALLY...short

By the way, the 5th DMC is going to be a screw up probably, since it's a different developer but there going for a western style touch this time >:X
Basically means no more crazy designs probably...
I got the first five episodes of anime from preordering DMC4 for 360 (better graphics on PS3 lol) I am just glad that Reuben voiced him, and does the mocap. I love Reuben Langdon. Best Dante voice ever lol.

But Johnny Young Bosch did give him a run for his money as Nero in DMC4, because Bosch is AMAZING! xDD

And DMC 2-4 was a different developer from 1. They didn't do too bad, so who knows?

Also, I beat every mode on 3 and all but Dante Must Die on 4. Because Nero was too good on it, but when switching to Dante, it got extremely hard, especially against the lightning bastard.
I'm a extremist pc user, so...yea...you get the point
Well DMC 2 was bad, we both know that.
But it's not changing the developer that bothers me, it's that there changing the core look\style of the game to fit the American "western" audience. I can give sources if you want.

So yea, with no crazy Japanese puzzles and monster styles, it probably won't be the same.
The funny thing is, the game is/was based off of the Dante's Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso books. Which are amazing. So, as long as they can keep the center on those books, it should stay fine.

And the only games I have played on PC were the Mass Effect games, and those kick ass :D

But they change the puzzles or the crazy ass monsters I am going to choke talk to someone about ruining it like DMC 2.
That's the thing, they probably will change most of it to make more sense for the westerns

I'll post some sources after I eat.

I'll join you for the choking talking if they DO fuck it up like in DMC2. friends? :D

EDIT: Also played both Mass Effects on PC >:D Can't wait for the 3rd!! ^-^

With the exception of the second game, I love the series. Unfortunately, they never did maintain the atmosphere set up by the original, which is still my favorite entry in the series.

Ugh, who cares if it makes sense to Americans. Most Americans couldn't give two shits about things like Demons or non-sport stuff. DMC has a cult following, and they should appeal to THEM. People like you and I. People that spend DAYS playing the shit out of these games and buying the books and anime on Blu-Ray (hint: I did all that xD)

And yes: Friends :D Choking talking friends xD

I can't either. I made FOUR characters on PC (many more on 360) for Mass Effect. One girl. One Good guy. One Evil Guy. And One Good guy that boned Liara lol. Just for the relationship bonus, because I had my Good guy Shepard cheat on Ashley with Miranda. Because... well... LOOK at her! Miranda is gorgeous! Ashley... was way too butchy and too much of a ***** when we met up for me to continue dating her. Miranda actually cared and quit Cerberus for Shepard.

DMC3 is my favorite, but I love them all. Yes, even 2; it was very flawed, but I still enjoyed playing it. And yes, even 4; I haven't played it yet, but I have no doubts I'll love it when I can.

And yes, I'm ecstatic that DMC5 is coming out.

My favorite was the first one. It was a great game, but the others just never lived up to it in my eyes. The anime wasn't really all that great, and I never read the mangas. I did read the novel though, and I thought it was pretty good(it was a prequel to the first game, and I thought it did a better job explaining Dante's past than 3 did by a longshot as well as having a better story).

DMC4.
DMD mode was stupid hard though, because I hadn't really realized how overpowered Nero was until I switched back to Dante.

Hahaha, right? With Nero, his Devil Bringer smoked everyone, especially when you could keep the upgrades to everything throughout the modes, but Dante couldn't do shit against the Lizardmen when they went all Devil Trigger.

Not to mention that one Secret Mission. You know the one. It was terrible. I had to god-pod it and I hate doing that.

Ugh, I was never any good at secret missions, no matter the game. I not once got all blue orbs in any game, but I got most, and that... was enough lol But I tried most of them, and for the sake of the gods, they were so freaking difficult.

There's BOOKS!? about DMC!? HOW DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS?!!
I only had 1 character on both mass effects, went evil (paragon? Cant remember well now  on both games.
I WAS going to re-do it, behaving myself and being the "good" guy, but I just couldn't be dammed to re-mind all those planets in ME2.
Still 28hrs well spent.

No he's talking about the Wind and Fire swords you get from that one boss. The golems that are brothers. I just can't remember the names of the weapon right now.
Agni and Rudra.

For my part, I can't decide; DMC3 was pure awesomeness in the form of a Japanese video game, but so was DMC4. Normally, it would go to DMC4 for the extra character, but I got the special edition of #3, so...

Yes. Vergil was an amazing character, much better than Nero. Although Nero WAS Vergil's son... and I do believe that was said by one of the creators.

Theres a trick to most of them.
Like the one where you have to protect the scarecrow, just pick him up and use him as a shield. Jump over to the fountain, drop him, and buster all the mandragoras.
Or the one where you have to cross the disappearing platforms. God-pod over to the blue shard.

hahahah, yeah, the mangas. Bloody. I loved them. There were 2 DMC3 mangas that prequeled before DMC3, and two DMC 1 mangas.

And Paragon was good guy :p. But I am a good guy first in every single game. Can't help it. Though I do have the blood thirsty evil side deep within ;)

And I know what you mean. But if you get the "Rich" trophy from MAss Effect 1, you start off with a lot of money. And get to level 60 you get lots more research materials and get to start at level 6 in ME2. I hate scanning planets... waste of time. But I had to for the extra side missions. xP

Wait a second--Nero is the son of Dante's twin brother, who was nineteen in DMC3, right? Then why is it that Nero is eighteen ten years later in DMC4, unless Vergil was impregnating women at the fine-and-dandy age of eleven? There's no denying that he was heavily influenced by Virgil, and Nero definitely fed off of his power after Dante freed him (Vergil) from Mundus' control, but 'son' is kind of a weird word to be throwing around in this case.

Someone on www.shoryuken.com, I believe, translated a novel that ties together events between the first and 4 game (since the chronology goes DMC 3,1,4, and finally 2). I'm not 100% sure if the thing was canon, but it's heavily implied if not outright said that Nero is in fact Vergil's son.
