Well?\

personally, I dream almost every time I sleep. Sometimes I cant recall what I dreamed about, but I recall that I dreamed about something. Usually I dont really care about my dreams though. They never meant anything to me, and I just regard them as pointless and annoying.

Yes, a few times a week or more (depending on how tired I am). They are in full color, third person, star characters that are completely made up by my brain and are more entertaining than most recent Hollywood blockbusters. I remember them at first, but they fade as the day goes on. Sometimes I write down the details right when I wake up, so I don't forget them.

We always dream, but we don't always remember our dreams. I usually have a nightmare right before I ake up. Kind of annyoing, actually.

I usually forget my dreams.

Sometimes I'll remember them for a few minutes. I'll lie in bed for a bit thinking, "Whoa, subconscious me, what the fuck, man?" But I'll have forgotten the dream by breakfast time.

I'm trying to get more control over my dreams (Lucid Dreaming), but the dreams I do remember are usually so messed up and random, they make me question my sanity.

I dream so much that I quite literally go back to sleep in order to dream more.

And you call yourself an Escapist. I am an extreme Escapist.

I get some really weird ones that I remember for a while. Not fully, but at least a little bit.
Most recent one is me and... some woman and a few other guys got a phone call from someone talking about how if we don't find him in time he'll hurt a baby that belonged to one of us.
Don't remember the inbetweens but long story short we didn't make it and when the baby came back to us she had some really fucked up face, half a leg, I think some of her fingers were missing. It was weird.

I usually have pretty vivid dreams, and I figured out how to lucid dream if I wake up, recall it then go back to sleep - Only works in the mornings though and sometimes results in sleep paralysis >.>
But I don't remember my dreams every night though, only a few times a week.

Technically, everyone dreams every night, some just don't remember it (or so I heard a long time ago). But yeah, I do mostly every night. Some I can still remember from years ago, others I can only remember for about 10 minutes after waking up.

I rarely remember my dreams. I know I dream every night but what exactly I dreamed about is usually lost by the time I brush my teeth. The few I remember are weird though.

We dream whenever we sleep, it's about remembering what we dream about.
My dreams are all nightmares too... they're always bloody and violent :(

I dream vividly every night, it almost feels real. I am never refreshed when I wake from sleep.

Yeah but not every night. And the frequency of remembering them is about the same. Unpredictable.

If I sleep in late I usually dream (or at least, I remember those dreams), but otherwise, not really. Most dreams I remember quite well right after I wake up, but I soon forget them afterwards. It's generally weird dreams; not nightmares, but just strange, involving people or situations from years ago.

If I stay up for longer than 24 hours (like I did yesterday, due to a random bout of insomnia), then yeah. Every time I drift off.
And boy, are they weird.
As in, I woke up after a half hour nap yesterday, wondering why I was suddenly a dude, something I am on a regular basis.

Other times, sure. Those dreams are usually pretty normal.

Good point.
