Beer is the nectar of the gods.

Particularly local craft brews.

... Particularly the Granville Island brewery's Lions Winter Ale. You haven't lived until you've sampled Vancouver's finest vanilla-hinted seasonal beer.

What I'm trying to say is yes, and I fancy myself a bit of a beer snob.

I think you have "enjoying the occasional alcoholic beverage" confused with "alcoholism".

That screams blasphemy. I'm yet to taste a rootbeer (or non alchoholic beer) that can even begin to compare with the stuff you get from microbreweries (and beleive me, I've tried). It might do you, but once you've tasted the best and identified with beer snobs it's hard to drink lower quality stuff.

No.I'm pregnant, that's the reason why I don't. If I wasn't, yeah I'd drink. It's fun.

i can't drink much, never did like the taste and it makes me super drowsy instead of talkative even if i drink a small amount.

Me drinking alchohol is a rare freak occurance that is along with meteor showers and religious figures appearing in toast. I do it with friends when encouraged but really I like keeping a level head about these sort of things and I really hate the taste of alchohol and I hate it's effects.

I've never even touched an alcoholic beverage and don't really plan on drinking even when I am of age. As a seventeen year old boy, I see no real reason to drink alcohol, and I have a feeling that this will continue until I'm well over the legal drinking age. Alcohol makes people do stupid things and I refuse to let anything make a fool out of me.

Been drinking since I was 13, and I'm a lot more responsible about it now. But it is fun to just get hammered with the friends on occasion.

Well I enjoy being quite intellectual and it's pretty much proven alcohol decreases intelligence. So i don't think I'll ever drink it.

When I go to a club, drinking helps me relax but I'm well-aware of the alcoholism in my family so I don't do it often.

I do not. My father's side of the family has a long history of alchohol abuse and I feel the best way to break the cycle is to abstain entirely.
