I have Gold and constantly wonder why the hell I am spending money on this thing. I keep meaning to cancel it but doing so means calling Microsoft and jumping through hoops. I'll get around to it..eventually. But in all seriousness I hardly use it anymore, no one in my friends list is ever playing the same games as me (I like to play some of the older stuff mainly because I'm broke and can't afford anything new right now ).

PSN and probly one of the only ppl that won't own a 360. nothing there i wanna play/can't get on my PS3, and no, Halo is not even close to a selling point.

Halo isn't the only exclusive, you know. What Xbox lacks in LBP, MGS4, and Fat Princess it makes up in Gears, Fable, and Castle Crashers.

if you have a laptop with internet, just get an ethernet cable, i got mine for like 2 bucks! works great.

Really, $50 a year to play all the great Xbox 360 multiplayer games? I mean, that's actually a really good deal. I mean, as opposed to $15 a month for one online game... Nothing against World of Warcraft, but I think XBL has the better value, at least...

You mean $50 a year (£40 for the British so more than $50)to play games you own online that are free online for pc users, and eventually be charged out of the nose for any DLC content? Oh and Demos that are free for pc users.....

Not one penny of it is value, however as usual microsoft has us bent over the table again so as needs must....

Admittedly, free online play for PC users. Hope you enjoy Gears of War 2 and Halo: ODST.

And for the record, demos are free on Xbox Live as well. I do recognize that there are advantages to PC gaming, but that doesn't render console gaming worthless.

I have a gold account.
I also have a PSN account.

I like my gold more just because of the voice chats, parties and general ease of communication versus PSN. I like PSN, but I can see why it's free.
I'd like PSN to put in a voice chat so I could talk to my friend while I'm playing Socom and she's playing KillZone2. Alas, that is why we have XBL, we communicate like that.

Yeah, I have an Xbox, so I buy myself a Gold Year card each December. I personally think that it's worth the money, I really like myself a good game of CoD or Battlefield or Halo. (Right now, I'm in a Halo fetish. I don't even have ODST, but I'd like to).
