I'm asking because it just seems to be a curious thing that in America shows like simpsons and family guy lead me to believe that people don't like indian food and often make jokes about it. Yet I'm from the UK where we LOVE indian food, we have a huge love affair with curry so why don't other countries? Perhaps it's because of Britain's history(you decide good or bad) with India that we've ate curry for longer than say America and as such it's a bigger part of our culture. Frankly curry is every bit a british as binge drinking, football hooligans and Yorkshire pudding. Tikka Masala is actaully a scottish dish.
And for a bit of fun here'd a clip from Red Dwarf the, undisputed masters of all things curry.
