Nintendo has often been knocked for not using High Definition visuals. People have often suggested that Nintendo should launch an entirely new console with HD capabilities in order to have any sort of chance in the technology race. Do you really want a WiiHD, though?
I'd like Nintendo to go into HD, but I think launching a new console so soon would be absolutely stupid. They'd be abandoning the 'casual' market they've built up so much, and I'd have to go out and buy another console. What I'd like to see them do, personally, is to instead produce (and I know that I'm going to start a slew of 'Nintendo does nothing but release peripherals! Blah Blah Blah!' remarks, but I really think this is the better idea) a seperate GPU and CPU that can be plugged into your Wii that allows for HD output (with the proper cable support, of course) by overriding the default one already present in the console. I have no idea how the Wii's hardware was built, so this could be impossible. But I think that this would be the best method if Nintendo wants to enter the HD front.
