Well its been an over used topic... but is it bad to still be hopeful... I mean ID software can always get this at some stage and make it epic... or even Valve...

I suppose noone will be giving away this legend.

Anyone one of those developers can get the FUCKING job done, also, the less threads we make about this the better.

Yes it will - like dracula in the 464th shitty sequel. Will smell about as good too.

I have to admit, I don't think it should be allowed to survive. The whole game reminds me of those awful awful movies from the 80s that you try and purge from your memory. I don't think anyone should be asked to pay £40 to play anything like that, Duke Nukem should just be thrown into the history books as an example of a money sinkhole.

I'm hoping he makes a comeback! We need a REAL man to come in and put pansies like MArcus Fenix in their place!

I don't think Valve should do it, they don't have experience with that type of game.

I think iD would be best suited from the list, but Epic could take it on alright as well.

To be honest graphically at this day and age it would probably be a masterpiece...
And I am all for the beating up of pigs and taking a shit down somethings neck from the God of War camera perspective... would be classy I would say...

But at this time... I think I am gonna want more of a story... and allot more of Duke's snide comments...

No it will not, it's dead

Duke Nukem is in an eternal time loop where he is constantly releasing dates to the outside world while never going anywhere

If they could make an endless amount of sequels on stupid games like NFS I am sure they can make a sick release for duke :/

While I seriously doubt it, my firend is convinced that DNF will be out either this christmas or sometime next year.

This speculation is based off of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CwHzclyYnI

(ignoring the fact its from april, it could mean something)

Dont worry girls... there is plenty of duke to go around.... Well from this point on I would say graphics really cant hold this game back anymore... there is no way they have the budget to redo the engine so its just gonna have to be released... or scrapped :/

Either way the wait will be over... I pretty sure I heard something about xmas in that video ^^

Thx for the info WanderingFool

Voted not this shit again :/

I was hooked on Duke3D, played it on the PC, Playstation, etc, and it didn't really ever get old for me until Duke Nukem Forever started. By year 3 I started wondering if the damned thing was a joke, by year 5(ish) they said that the only thing holding back their release was the box art... THE FUCKING BOX ART!?

This isn't heartbreak anymore, I'm done and over this shit. It's just that ever time DNF comes up I want to burn a puppy to quell the HATE I feel that this is even still being talked about as if it were some tangible thing and not a hard finger-fuck in the asses of gamers by those di... uh, assh... erm, those .....fine..... developers that have been promising this vaporware forever.

'scuse me while I find a puppy and some matches.

Well, let's see.

Valve wouldn't ever finish it either, they're still working on Half-Life Forever and Left 4 Dead 6.

Ubisoft would spend too long trying to come up with retarded DRM that punishes people who actually pay for it that pirates will crack(making pirated copies actually superior to purchased ones) in under a day.

I thought DreamCatcher made movies.

EA will make a sequel for it every year that adds nothing but slightly improved graphics, the exact opposite extreme from the one going on now.

And now because i had to think about it:

I don't know much about Epic Games but apparently the only thing they think they have going for them is Gears of War going by their website, which would be like asking Hideo Kojima to release a Diablo clone.

And ID, uh...looking at their site, all i see of relevance is Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein. So they can do a FPS, but not make it about anything other than hell, hell, or nazi hell.

so....i dunno, i can't really vote for any of those guys.

I would say Valve, but then they'd take longer to release Half-Life Episode 3.

I chose ID, but I think Raven would be the best for it.

I thought we killed Duke Nukem Forever?

Oh wait it's still twitching

*sledgehammer to project's face*

There we go...

Now, enough of this foolishness!
