Okay, so I'm channel surfing, and a I come across a commercial for a show about people who are "preparing for the 2012 apocalypse".

...Look, I like to not think about the supposed upcoming apocalypse (I'm already paranoid, I DON'T NEED THIS SHIT), but some people do. Fine, that's their opinion (and if it doesn't happen, I bet they'll feel foolish)... but I'm just tired of hearing about it, of seeing all the TV shows discussing how the world will end, and all that.

So, anyone else wishing all the hype will just stop?

Guys I discovered something horrific - The Vatican has predicted the 2012 apocalypse and it isn't happening on the 21st of December 2012 - The calender I got ends on the 31st of December.

Mayans are still around and note along with archaeologists that the long count calender still operates on the "at the end of one time period the next one begins" exactly like ours
