Depends, real ramen or instant ramen?

If instant then spicy kimchi flavored ramen, specifically this ramen:

If real ramen then beef ramen with eggs, shallots, and sea weed.

Oriental is seriously boss. It's also the only one I haven't gotten tired of. Though it is a little confusing, considering the dish is from the East in the first place.

I did go to a legitimate ramen house once, though, and ohhhh man, was it so vastly superior. I must have spent an hour there just enjoying every little bit of it.

Instant Spicy Kimchi master race, reporting.

The few times I've been to a ramen house I ended up getting the spiciest thing they had. I didn't know what the flavor was specifically, all I know was that I asked them for the "spiciest thing you have", and they delivered it.

I'm not sure they put in it though. I think they just took every ghost pepper they had in the back, wrung out all the juice and used it as broth. Hot enough my nose stung every time I exhaled for the next day and a half.

I loved me some Cajun Chicken. Bought them by the case.

Sadly, they were discontinued. :(

I like to make some miso broth, then make chicken ramen and add the miso broth to it. Numicious and good for the digestion. Hmm, do we have some miso paste in the apartment?

Favorite? Ramen just tastes of sadness to me. Those were the dark days.

I usually stuck with the beef though. It was either that or the chicken at my grocery store and the chicken always seemed bland to me.

Well I'm vegetarian and the only vegetarian one I know of is oriental Top Ramen.

Also the chili flavor works, but I have yet to even see one of those anywhere.

Shio ramen. It's not as overwhelming as shouyuu or miso, and I don't always see tonkatsu flavor available.

...oh, that kind. On it's own, probably creamy chicken. Otherwise, plain chicken, I guess. I generally throw into my instant ramen whatever random leftover meat I have available, and most meats work best with chicken.

Noodles are horrible synthtetic garbage with next to no nutrition value and even less taste. It's like that with all quick meals, it just tastes like plastic and E-numbers. Yuck!

I used to like spicy beef but it got discontinued. So my answer would be the spicy chicken. I love it even though its terrible for my blood pressure so i can only have it every once and awhile.

My favorite is a Korean version called Shin Ramyun which is flavored with spicy bean paste. It's got a heat level which even my hardened taste buds notice.

Which is to say it would be melt your face off spicy to most, but still, damn delicious and it is probably the best sore throat remedy i have ever encountered.

Maybe not favorite, but certainly the most vividly remembered flavor. Beef mildew with hint of cockroach droppings flavored ramen sold to the truly financially desperate in those dusty shelved little way past the sell by date stores. I do not miss poverty.

well first of all, that is just instant ramen.
I have to insist that ramen is not ramen if it is not tonkotsu

Kudos for Oriental flavoring! It was my favorite for years but now the stores around here only offer chicken, beef, and shrimp flavors. I can't recall what "Oriental" flavoring was but just like beef and chicken are no more than powdered bullion cubes Oriental tasted like something you could find easily.

By any chance do you know what I mean? What the flavoring is?

Um... beef or roast beef.

That's about as far as I can narrow it down. And it's close.

Chicken and roast chicken were close.

Easy for me to say what I don't like very much. I'll die before I eat anything spicy. Seriously. It'll cause my suffering.

I go with oriental. Tastes awesome with with some egg yokes in there. Works with chili as well, but I don't know about other flavors.

Try it!
