I am a huge follower of the Harry Potter series, I got the 1st book when I was 7 years old and I have loved them ever since, I think that the 6th book was the best as the characters were more developed than ever which just made series better than ever, what are your thoughts on one of the best selling book series ever made??

I haven't read all of them, but I preferred the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was the right mix of light heartedness and dark stuff.

Half-blood prince was best IMO, deathly hollows would have been best except the fact harry beat Voldemort fellow with a technicality.

Hey now, that's not nice.

My facourite was nmber three, followed closely by nmber six. Best written in style and in context.

I have read all the Harry potter books numerous times and have come to the conclusion that they are awfull. They are poorly written and really rather predictable and i dont why i enjoyed reading them so much XD
So then, my favourite was the Goblet of Fire. I think it had the most interesting story and was the most exciting. It kept me far more immersed than the others. I also think it had a good level of character development and was generally the best written

For me its Prisoner, it was also around that time that the series took a dive and the books started to grow in size and the quality went away.

Tie between the Goblet of fire and order of phoenix.
The new books just suck, they don't have the charm the previous books had and feel like they have been rushed.

I don't know if it's because I haven't read 1,000 books and studied the literature of nearly every culture or because I was a teenager or what but they didn't seem predictable to me other than that the three "most important" (see the quotes?) characters don't die-- or at least not exactly. I never knew what was coming in the next book and I rarely knew what was coming in the next few chapters.

My favourite, personally, was Prisoner of Azkaban. It introduced the single best character J.K. Rowling has ever created, it had a dark tone and it saw the introduction of the Dementors, which are amazing creatures. Scary, but amazing.

My fave's the goblet of fire, it has the most memories for me. The first one is good for nostaligia and that fuzzy feeling, and the prizoner of azkaban is the best written.

Book one. I was living in England when it came out, so I got to witness it's impact first hand. Probably the most epic moment in my childhood that was.

On a side note, I love all the books except the ones that came after The Goblet of Fire, since they felt more like movie scripts than children's novels.

Prisoner of Azkaban for me definitely!

I also think it is the best film, I enjoy how it took the silly child films to a darker (and better) level.

The third one was the best, idunno I just liked it. The last one before she started to get into all the teen angst and romance BS
