Eh, sorta, but not really

Geeky:
-I have Richard Feynman lectures on my iPod (that guy in the picture if you don't know)
-I play more video games than normal
-I make a lot of video game jokes
-Sci-fi is my favorite genre
-I know lots of crap about movies
-I love picking apart music genres
-I visit the Escapist almost everyday
-I'm starting a retro game collection
-I want to work in the video game industry as a programmer
-I read a fair share of comics
-3.5 GPA

Non-geeky:
-Before I became ill, I played football and I wrestled
-I rock at pick-up football, my hands are magnets
-If you watch the ZP Alpha Protocol he says Suave Mike Thornton should just mace himself, that's me (with more respect)
-I hate reading anything without pictures
-I have never played a PC game that wasn't Backyard Baseball or Roller Coaster Tycoon
-Never played WoW, D & D, MTG, Halo, COD, MSG or basically any critically acclaimed extremely popular game
-I play fantasy football

EDIT: For geeky: I plan on getting a tattoo of Unicron and Cobra Commander
I go to museums for fun

I guess I do a bunch of things that would be considered 'traditionally' geeky and nerdy, but I don't like to label. Geek means so many different things to different people, and it's far too difficult to classify in such a broad manner.

Geeky,
- I love me some video games.
- Sci Fi is awesome, books, movies, TV, you name it I love it. Though not enough to go to a convention.
- I have been described as being just like Dr. House, though I think I am a little more light hearted.
- I read more books in a year than most people my age have read in their lives.
-History and Science give me mental orgasms.
- (arguable) I love being in AFJROTC.

Non-Geeky,
- I'm quite athletic.
- I'm going to join the military.
- I do not partake in the shunning of da ladies.

Geeky:
Play video games (obviously)
Quite knowledgable about a range of topics
I'm a fast learner
Good with computers
LOVE the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Non-Geeky:
Love sports, especially football above all else (including video games)
Athletic
I'm more likley to talk about the match last night, than my latest high score
Dont't own any "geeky clothes" i.e. t-shirts with gaming slogans
Play Guitar
Like doing manual work, such as building and fixing things
I have a toolbox
I've had an account on this site for two years and my post count is ridiculously low
Like the outdoors
Love to Read (this is not geeky)
I don't like WOW at all, or any MMO for that matter
Have no problem socialising with people mostly
I lost all interest in star wars when i was about 13
I've never seen Tron

Thats all I can think for now, but i think it's safe to say geeky me is taking a pounding from non-geeky me.

{1} No.

{2} Rather than try to nail down every little thing I do, I'm going to just explain why I don't fit in the category. You see, there are a number of things that I like that geeks do and do not like. That's probably true for everyone. Comparing the two sides isn't enough. What you need to do is find yourself a confessed geek and compare yourself to that person and his likewise friends. If you see yourself as much like them, then you might just be geeky. But if you see an obvious separation, where they're actually weirder than you are, then you're probably not. I am a savvy person, but my brother is a definite geek. More to the point, I have alot of friends from college who are. Trust me when I say I'm not on any of their level.

I like Metal
I do computer programming
I work at a computer repair shop
I play video games 2-3 hours a day. (Well, more now that I'm on break)

So I fit basically every stereotype for a super-geek.
