Thinking about it, Goku and Superman/Superboy Prime have very similar stories. Both were aliens sent to Earth as their planets were destroyed, both were adopted on Earth, both fought their own race over the fate of their new home, both have survived the death of another planet they were on, both have fought enemies considered to be the strongest of the universe and died because of it and both have been resurrected. And then there's the age old question: Who would win if they fought?
The way I figure it there's really no conceivable way Goku or Superman would fight each other for any reason beyond a misunderstanding and it would never end with a final blow, but Superboy Prime is a different story. I hate Superboy Prime with a passion because his dialogue and actions continue to make me see him as nothing but a whiny ***** with Superman's powers and he's immune to kryptonite and magic, making him incredibly hard to stop.
I have to give this to Goku. He may not usually kill his enemies but that's not to say he hasn't tried or been willing to. Seriously, count them: Goku has only killed 1 villain in all of DBZ. He killed more before he was 13!
Your call, who wins?
