It's a simple question, really. Which do you prefer? Grape or Strawberry jelly? I'm in an argument with someone and they foolishly believe strawberry to be the greater of the two flavors.

If I had to choose between the two? GRAPE! There I said it.

I'm from the UK, so I assume you mean jam. In which case strawberry, or raspberry, because I've never tried grape jam before.

I believe jelly is some strange concoction that is much less viscous than jam. I've never heard of strawberry jelly so I assume that he means strawberry jam or grape jelly.

As a fruit: grape. As a jelly: strawberry. My biscuits must have strawberry jelly. Grape can pass for toast but it is just horrible on a biscuit.

I like Strawberries way more. Grapes are good too, though. I even have a couple grape vines. And I like wine.

Okay b4 we get into this linguistic problem again.
My dear UK escapist allow me to clarify
In America
Is jelly. Notice that it doesn't have seeds or fruit chunks in it.
Jam is what we call it when it's more like this
Sometimes they're called 'preserves' they tend to have pieces of the actual fruit, seeds, or whathaveyou in them.

Some people, especially people not from the midwest or south, tend to use the terms interchangeably.

Okay that being said; Raspberry!
