Poll: Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Portal 2

So, between those two games, which one are you waiting for the most?

I'm more inclined to Portal 2, because I want more GLaDOS.

I really hope they don't make another Portal game - It'd kill the series. Where could you go from there - the great thing about Portal was the fact it had a unique idea, a fun and interesting place to explore this mechanic and it was short but throughly enjoyable.

To make a portal 2 not only would there be so much expectation, but I am sure the mechanic would become stale and uninteresting, theres only so much you can do with a Portal gun after all.

I don't see how they could expand on portal except for new maps and puzzles (yawn). If they do succeed in adding something cool I guess portal 2, but if not, EP3

i dont see how a portal sequel will fit in with anything that happened in the previous game

its best bet is dlc maps

HL2: Episode 3. They need to finish the damn trilogy. They're already said GlaDos will be in Episode 3 along with the Portal gun so Portal 2 can wait.

Just never got around to it and now its a little dated. I mean head crabs... cmon.

Good game is never dated.


Also, Half Life 2 has better graphics than a lot of modern games. Especially on 16x AA.

Both, Portal was/is awesome, Half life was/is awesome. So why not make both of them?

I wouldn't like to have the Portal gun on Ep.3, because I think it would make the gameplay more complicated and thus taking more time to develop.

Do not diss the head crabs!

A few of the gameplay mechanics and the graphics have aged yes. But Half Life & Expansions are still more fun that 90% of the shooters released since. You owe it to yourself to play them.
