Poll: Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle or Pineapple Express? (I PICKED MY MOVIE)

Hey Escapist Community:

I'm going on a plane ride soon, a long one, so I decided to purchase a movie off of iTunes.

Since I like comedies, my choices boiled down to either Pineapple Express or Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Which one is funnier and more entertaining, and more replayable without getting boring?

A quick reply would be appreciated greatly.

UPDATE: Just an update, I got PE, because I haven't seen it before.

Hopefully it will content me on my way to Egypt. A merry spring break season to all!

Ok, how's the replayability? How many times can you watch it w/out it getting boring?

Harold and Kumar is a much better movie. I love Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow, but Pineapple Express is by far their worst movie. It's not that funny and there's not enough action to make up for it. Superbad is much better than both of these movies. If you haven't seen Pineapple Express, it's worth renting and watching once, but it's not nearly as good as Harold and Kumar was.

Well, it's good, I guess. At least as good as Harold & Kumar, I'd say. I dunno, I don't really rewatch movies a lot - just out of the blue every now and then I'll get an urge to watch one, but not too often.

I'm really surprised by all the responses in favor of H&K - I thought it was pretty mediocre. The only really funny part, imo, was when Kumar was fantasizing about marrying and living with the giant brick of weed. Pretty much all of PE I find hilarious.

If you're a stoner I think pineapple express would be funnier for you due to all the references they make to weed culture. If you're not you won't really get them, so Harold and Kumar would be funnier for you.

It has Neil Patrick Harris starring as himself.

Its almost to legendary.
