I'd either go with Ravenclaw or Slytherin, I'm not brave enough for Griffindor and being in Hufflepuff would just be embarrassing.

Ravenclaw seems to be the popular option. I think it's the appeal of being really intelligent, but too self-absorbed to bother with all the courageous bullshit. Who doesn't want to come across as a snarky, misanthropic smart-arse?

From your descriptions I think I would be a Hufflepuff.

I'm too much of a sissy to be in Gryffindor, I am not evil enough to be in Slytherin and I am not smart enough to be in Ravenclaw.

Although, loyalty and patience suits me rather well, so defiantly Hufflepuff.

Wusses in Gryffindor, idiots in Hufflepuff, jerks in Ravenclaw. At least Slytherin doesn't pretend it's not full of asswipes.

I personally found the house system a bit stupid, just because I was intelligent and driven at age 11 doesn't mean I am now 6 years later. People change over time. The house system just seems to enforce the sterotypes leading to segregation.

That all said, I like buttons. I don't think there's a house that would take me.

Probably that's why Harry made his own choice about not going to Slytherin.

Ravenclaw or Slytherin. It will be close. I guess Slytherin in the end. I'm a damn coward and haven't got the motivation to be a very good study, though my marks would probably be ok. But when I was 11 I did have motivation... hmm... difficult.

According to JK, the hat does usually take a person's preference into account when making a selection, just as it did for Harry.
