I don't give a fuck. Obvious sarcasm for you duller folks out there.
(That means that I need to know what kind of games that YOU like before I can recommend you one.)

But based on that list, I'll say Mass Effect 2. I hated Mass Effect, but apparently everyone else thought it was gods second coming, so.... That one.

Assign each game a number, starting at one, then use a random number generator to decide. Personally, I would say play a completely different one.

NHL 10 gets the official Canada seal of approval. OT: The flyers deserved it so much more this year man. I hate the Faphawks for knocking out my beloved canucks.

Mass Effect. Both of them.

40 hours of pure fun. If you like Space RPG's, that is. Although, Mass Effect 2's armor/weapon system and class skill base could.. use some work. The first time was fine, thank you Bioware! >:/

Diablo 2. As long as you have a pc, you can play it. Nice amount of action. No leveling treadmill (I.E the Final Fantasy Virus), semi-different game every time, via random generated maps/monster spawns (unless you get the expansion, then it varies per every full campaign, instead of every boot up). Plus co-op up to 8 people, with inclining difficulty and xp for each additional person, or if you hate the person(s) you are playing with, you can fight them, just don't lose, or they get to loot your body.

try a system for picking randomly and stick with that choice, or go outside for a nice long walk and experience the joys of nature.
What, like watching the clouds?
I have screensavers for that.
Or watching people?
There's always The Sims, and you get to manipulate them way more without going to jail.
Talking?
MMOs.

Nature is overrated.
Just play some ME2, man.

Dead Space is Resident Evil in space 14 years too late and NHL 10 is same old shit, so that brings it to ME2 or Jade Empire.

I've never played Jade Empire, so i can't comment on it, but ME2 was alright. Was pretty ballsy of Bioware to totally change up the whole way the game worked for the sequel. I don't think it worked out as well as they thought it would, but considering they've been making the exact same swords and whatnot fantasy rpg game over and over and over for the last god knows how many years, it's nice to see them actually do something different for a change.

Mass Effect 2. There really is a lot there to suck you in for quite awhile. And I felt like I had a satisfying experience during the whole time I was playing. Imagine you would, too.

I would recommend playing the first Mass Effect, for the complete experience in a truly detailed and interesting fictional version of our own galaxy- but there are a lot of changes between the two that makes immediately playing one to the other more difficult to get used to. ME2 is definitely the better game, but I always have a hard time of solely recommending it.

It's like telling someone to just watch The Empire Strikes Back as their intro into Star Wars. Sure, it may be the better film, but theres so much you're really missing out in doing so

Only one game? Who says you can't play them all? That's what I'd do if I were you. I'm starting a new game on Rainbow Six: Vegas on Realistic and Call of Duty 4 on Hardened then Veteran. At the same time, I've been playing Just Cause 2.
