My character is a "Goody two-shoes", an extreme one at that. My character is so disgustingly good that even the other good guys either think she's annoyingly good even by their standards or that she's simply... stupid. She always does good stuff, and she usually decline the reward if she can. I think there's only one time that she's ever done something that caused her karma to decrease. The rest of the time her karma has either remained the same or increased.

If I ever replay Fallout 3 though I'll probably play a character that's the opposite of my current character. He's going to be the fear of all the wasteland! *mohahahaha*

First time around I did what I did in Fable when I first played it. I had psychotic ADHD.

"Ohhhahhh, BIG GUN! *bam* Oh I'm sorry......"

Needless to say my short attention span and hair trigger did not make me to most likable person on the block.

The some way a stereotypical WoW player plays with girls, non-existently
I sincerely hope you're joking and aren't actually that stupid.
What? I was trying to make a bad zinger while still getting the point across that I haven't played it yet xP

I've blown up and killed, stolen everything I could find. After blowing up Megaton I was "Very evil - Scourge of the wastelands" but after a bit of a wander around the top left of the map killing raiders, I'd collected so many ears, or... fingers, whichever one the bad one was, that when I gave them to the Regulators (there were about 37 earfingers altogether), I was instantly "Very good - Last best hope of humanity".

Despite being a slaver who casually set off a nuke to kill a town.
Fingers for good/lawbringer, ears for bad/contract killer.
Thats the one. I had both perks and seeing as neither really serve to identify the person they used to belong to, I forgot which was which. Wasteland fingerprint reader, anyone?

I play the first few missions, get bored, and return it to GameFly.
Umm, good for you? That's pretty irrelevant.
Anyway, I just do whatever I would do in a situation like that, but I have another character that just destroys everything for fun

I always play characters that are kleptomaniacs, my guy in fallout is "William, the good hearted kleptomaniac." He'll save your baby but then he'll steal its rattle. Seriously there isn't one person or shop I haven't stolen from.

AHAHAHAHAHA, thats nice of you! And I'm glad to hear that the deathclaws are wimps. 8 feet, pfft, I was expecting 16-legged scorpion, 12 feet high, 4 giant pinchers, each with a MIRV launcher and 2 giant stingers. Also they love Blackjack but can't take loosing well. They'd also have armor 2 feet thick, which makes an Abrahams M1 hide and cry in the corner. Oh and they'd be very civilized, enjoying every conversation with a nice pot of tea... at least until you said you don't drink tea, then they'd NUKE YOUR ASS.

I've met two Deathclaws so far. One was terrorizing villagers by the shopping mart, two caps in his head put him down. The other was with some kinda Enclave trainer, I had to bring out the Flamer.

i personally play the game the way i would in real life i dont kill or steal unless they deserve it (tenpenny tower 2 of the basturds wouldnt let ghouls in so they got a sniper shot in the face from the shadows) except i rob people sometimes like i robbed megatons armory leaving the poor people defenseless

edit:unless you want the game made to esay for you do not get the:scrounger strong back and the thing that lets you find huge amounts of money made the game to esay and dammit the whole thing got ruined

When I'm playing it normally I can be found to be very very nice until someone annoys me, then I have to kill everyone in the surrounding area for letting such a person exist in my game.

The way I'm playing it now is to give my self restrictive rules and play it without the HUD on. I start fresh out of the vault, drop everything I'm carrying and then proceed to fend for myself. Gave the game fresh life for me. More games should have the option for no HUD.

Edit: Oh yeah, and not using any Vendors, with these things in place it makes the game much more challenging without having to up the differculty slider

I'm mostly good, but I do steal things occasionally, and I blew up Megaton. I regret that.

I am a mr.nice guy, with a minigun, which is quite difficult, with nice people being expected not to kill and pillage, take the crusades, oh wait, bad example.

anyway, I am a nice heavy weapons guy.

I did mostly good deeds, I mean aside from stealing stuff...nothing was going to stop me from doing that.

Oh, and about halfway through my play-through I blew up Megaton, I don't regret it.
I only wish I could have saved Deputy Weld from the explosion.

I still ended the game with good almost saint-like karma though...

My first and best character was basically Doc Savage, a bad-ass scientist with high STR, END, and INT who had a propensity for destroying Super Mutants in hand-to-hand combat, for SCIENCE!!

My most successful evil character was modeled after one of the premade characters in Fallout 1, a Russian femme fatale. I still wasn't very evil, though, because there's only so far you can get down the karma meter without acting like cretinous lunatic. Even Evil should have standards, as Gnarl would say.

Neutral.
In every morality game I've ever played, my karma stays pretty gray, but especially in Fallout 3. I guess I'm too afraid to get jumped by a whole town (Rivet City).
