I have some college learning but I dropped out so I am only a high school grad for now. But my goal is to get enough money to afford college or university again so hopefully that will change.

I have a B.Sc in the catchily entitled Environmental, Analytical and Agricultural Chemistry that I picked up here in Glasgow. Hoping to do a Ph.D in Env. Science at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Broaden the horizons a bit, do some useful research, make the CV more exciting and earn some cash while I'm at it. If they let me in. I should hear this month sometime.

I selected "none of the above", since we do things a little different here in Iceland. There's nothing that's really synonymous with "high-school", for example. I quit school at the age of eighteen (after the last semester of 2009) and do not intend to return.

Isn't the name of the topic a bit misleading?

I mean, im more "learned" and "educated" than a lot of college graduates, but I haven't even bothered with trying to graduate in any "higher education". Mostly because I can't stand the demanded PC routine that students have to engage in over here.

If I am to study, I want to do it for intellectual reasons, free of political correctness, not be graded according to how well I agree with the latest feminist fads which are spreading like a fucking cancer across this country of mine...

I was attempting to make a play on words. Relax, I know plenty of high school grads that are leaps and bounds smarter in many ways to people I know with Masters degrees. Hell, I know alot more about subjects like history and astronomy than my wife, who's got a Masters in Economics and can understand vastly complex mathmatical formula that makes my head spin.

The question more clearly worded: How much formal education do you have?

Currently in my second year of BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry and Biological chemistry. If I do well enough, hoping to do a Ph.D in Biological inorganic chemistry as I am getting top grades in that subject. Its awesome. I love uni.

Science in college, hoping to specialise in Astrphysics next year. I find Astrophysics really enjoyable, yet the rest of physics (and my course) insanely dull. So it's a real hurdle getting past this year...

Hmm... well Technically I'm at College student level... But I don't like thinking that my level of intelligence is bound to how much schooling I've had. There are plenty of cases where a student at the elementary level of their life can have the mindset of a college student and so forth...
That and I'm extremely good and understand fairly well how to do many of the jobs that I can't do because I lack the tiny piece of paper that says I'm certified to do said line of work. -,-;

I'm going to end this post now before I go on a giant rant about the education system and what not..
