This morning on the bus i overheard an conversation between 2 girls.
At one point one of them mentioned that her new shoes had costed her 275 Euro (that's 381,81 dollar).
WHAT?!?!?!
So uhmm...... how much do your shoes cost?
And why did you paid that much for them?

$19.99.

They are from Wal-Mart, and I didn't want to spend more on shoes. They're just shoes.

I buy shoes to keep my feet protected from the outside elements. Same reason I buy any sort of clothing. They're cheap-ass generic-brand sneakers. I don't see the point in dropping anything more than twenty bucks on shoes.

Like $150. It's too high, but I'm very OCD aboot buying the exact same shoes every six months to a year.

Mine are usually under 50 or just over (around 60). I wear sneakers primarily and I tend to wear them out rather quickly.

Around the $150-$200 mark, but that's because my feet are weird and require specifically made shoes, or they start to hurt very badly.

I'm not good with exchange rates but all of my shoes cost at least £30 and up to £60 sooo that's like $50-$100?

the only shoes you should spend over 50 bucks on are special shoes like, Fencing Shoes, Boxing Boots, etc. Specialized shoes outside the norms. If your just buying a really expensive shoe so you look nice then your spoiled and vain imo.

150-200$ because I buy nice shoes, but they last me 3-4 years, so I don't really think that it's a bad deal. They're really comfortable and I like them, but I wouldn't spend that much money if I had to buy them every year.

Mine cost around $200. They're high grade utility boots. I tend to wear shoes out quickly, so I only get shoes that can stand the punishment I dish out.

Ah...don't do dollars. I usually tend to stick to around 20-30 pounds, which is roughly $50 I think?

Though my current ones were a little more, being leather converse. I only have one pair of shoes at a time, so I don't mind spending a bit more to make them good quality.

Around $50-$100, which would be about £30-£60 over here. I'd say on average I spend about £30-£35, mostly for Converse. I'm reasonably sure the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes was £40, give or take a pound or two.

The shoes I'm wearing right now are like $120, but they are an anomonaly as far as my shoe purchasing goes. Usually I spend <$50 but I had offhandedly mentioned I needed new shoes for my birthday last year and (among other things) I got like $150 in gift cards for a local shoe place so I figured I'd go for some more expensive ones. They are holding up like champions though, I'll give them that.

Usually around £60 on a decent pair of shoes. I'm guessing thats $90-$100? By shoes I mean trainers, I havent worn proper shoes since secondary school as part of a uniform.

Around ?90, which would be $125. I always spend the same amount of money on shoes, because I always buy the same ones (army boots). They're cheaper at some places, but they aren't always available there.

3 Euros.
They were expensive, for second hand. But they were boots so it was worth it.
They have a zip on the side, so convenient.

This is why I don't buy new, why the fuck would you want to spend like eighty bucks on bloody shoes.
Like seriously, who's going to be staring at your fucking feet all day.
