I've seen some of the more recent episodes and some of them are just not as good as the older ones. Am I crazy or not?

...going downhill?
Sorry for being the one to break this to you, but Family Guy has been a subpar show ever since its conception.

Yea.
And it has been for quite some time.
I still watch it every once in a while, but it's not nearly as good as it used to be.
Although I will say that some people exaggerate it's decline in quality a bit.

Well, I watched the new ones while sleep deprived and with a bunch of friends, so I don't actually remember what they're like.

You're not crazy.

But you're incredibly insecure if you think that just because you made an observation, that means the internet will have made a full psychological evaluation of you and will give you a coherent, constructive and smart opinion or explanation of your situation.

Also, Family Guy got old a long while back.

Eh, I still love the show, I don't see reasons for hating it, as it's just meant to be funny and make you laugh, which almost all episodes do for me.

This right here... It does make me laugh, but I feel dirty for laughing. It's such low-brow humour. It's like Jay Leno. Or watching the Punisher. It just makes me feel unclean, even though it's sort of fun. I guess it's like people that read Twilight. But there the unclean feeling makes it better. Somehow.

IMO, it's only funny if Peter is fighting the chicken or there's a scene with Adam West. The running gag about Meg gets a chuckle or two.

I don't hate it. Far from it. I've just noticed a decline in quality in the past 2 years or so.

That is true, I'll agree to that. However, it still makes me laugh, which sounds like a winner to me.

It's been going downhill ever since it started pulling all of its focus towards stewie, so since like, season 5. I don't watch it all the time like I used to, but I've seen some of the newer ones and they still have some funny moments, but it's extremely hit-and-miss now.

Second post hit is square on the head. The used used to have moments of greatness scattered between idiotic, unfunny, and repetitious scenes.
