yes...yes I am sexy aren't I?

hehe... now seriously putting a brief moment of playfulness to the side.

It really depends on the form of " power"

power over one's-self is very much on the high end of the scope with me..

other forms, not so much as it's usually lacking something in other forms.

I think it's extremely sexy, since girl "in power" meaning high social position is usually confident and intelligent and those two are very important traits for me. Also I'm not very caring and "she feels safe in my arms" kind of guy so I like a girls who are independent and know what they want. Unfortunately I've never been in a relationship with that kind of woman (I thought I were, but I was really disappointed) but I know for sure I'm sick and tired of those passive, boring chicks, who expect that their boyfriend will take care of everything.
Great mind think alike.

That's why I try to ignore the "sweet idiots" and go for the girls that actually use their brain, instead of breasts.

Although there is no greater power than beauty (pretty girl doesn't always equal a full-bra girl, and vice versa) and brainpower combined.

Power is sexy. There is power in being a house wife - or a house girlfriend (*waves at girlfriend whom he knows stalks his internet accounts*) - there is a calmness, she controls more of my life than should be possible (i.e. what I eat, how much I drink, where I do things, how I do them etc.). How does the old saying go "Behind every powerful man there is a strong woman" and I have to agree.

All that said, my relationship is very old school, my wench stays home, I go win the bread, come home and have dinner waiting for me.

And I love it, feminists be damned.

I like personality, and people with power have very little of it. However there are exceptions to every rule.

It can be a bit sexy (although I´m not into physical power), but then again so are many other things, like submissiveness, quirky sense of humour, leather...(and the list goes on.) With power I mean both the strength of personality and social influence. But again, it´s not the only thing I find sexy.

It actually took me a little while to think about this, as I was analysing exactly the kind of woman I really do desire.

In the end I guess a powerful woman is attractive to me. A woman that can take action, and is capable of being fierce and independant is ...well its desirable. A woman like that could nurture, provide for and protect her children if neccessary.

I guess many people would think of physically powerful women, or extremely overbearing women, but strength doesn't lend itself just to these traits. Loyalty, leadership, ambition and intelligence are all great signs of strength.

I don't really know, never thought about it. Ofcourse I wouldn't want a girl who lets me do everything, but I'm not fond of being dominated as well. I like balance in a relationship.

Not posession of power in itself. I find the ability to use power to intelligently, effectively and ethically accomplish worthwhile goals sexy, though.

Man, I can't say anything without qualifying the hell out of it >_>

I know a girl who is quite good at martial arts, we're just friends but still I think she's quite sexy (the awesome boobs don't hurt either) and I like it that I'm fast enough to dodge her punches, yeh I have a talent for pissing people off. Also she's not buff at all, perfect figure . :)

I look for intellegence more then anything else, if a girl can stimulate me mentally, i'm almost instantly stricken.

Wanting to be the protective male and such is a remnant of Neandothol(?) phyche, nowadays it's not so much of a problem, but we all want to be the ones responsible for protecting our families.

hey OP this guy knows what 'your friend' meant when 'your friend' said that. its not nesecarily social or physical power. brain power and financial power are what 'your friend' was talking about.

It's not power that's the attractive quality, it's confidence. People with power tend to be swimming in the stuff.

I find weakness and helplessness far sexier than power. Read into that however you like.
