Poll: Is the iPhone the best Handheld console

Some iPhone game nowadays come close to PSP titles in terms of graphics (for example Real Racing) and other games benefit from greatly implemented touch screen controls like DS titles do.

What's your opinion on that?

I feel the DS is still superior due to its amazing range of great RPG's - something the iphone does not have.

I would say the DS, only because it's the only handheld I own... So... Many... RPGs...

I prefer the DS of the three, though the iphone does have some interesting titles that I will check out when I get one.

The DS has Scribblenauts, so it gets my vote just for that.

Seriously though, the DS gets my vote purely on its' library of games, which is superior to essentially any handheld, and backwards compatibility. It's just the most practical gaming machine out of the lot.

Iphone is too gimmicky in my opinion. It has to figure out what its good at still. I'm not a fan of the motion control nor the touch screen. Then again.. I don't play handhelds to begin with.

I haven't ever had a DS. I've had a PSP and I have an iPhone so i'm going to have to vote iPhone here.

The iPhone doesn't even come close to the DS and PSP in terms of gameplay or really anything else. It's like a portable flash-game site. I'm kind of torn between DS and PSP, but I think DS is slightly better.

DS, the PSP has a lot of potential but it's being held back by lack of second nub. The iPhone is DS taken to the extreme with no input besides touch. The DS is a perfect balance of the other two.

The DS wins, PSP second, and iphone 3rd because it really wasn't designed to be a handheld console, and it shows. I might be biased due to my utter distaste for apple products though.

DS wins this race easy. It has been around the longest, has the most games worth playing, and I believe the best control schemes.

The DS will probably be winning this one, since it has actual games to it but the iPhone is the choice for free games (I have been dissapointed enough times with DS titles that I regret paying $30 for them, and the iPhone's most expensive game is about $5). Until the DSi has an app store that isn't crap, I think the iPhone will have won my vote.

I can't speak fairly since I have never used an iPhone, but I get enough fun out of my DS to say that I don't see iPhone replacing it as my favorite.

Nintendo is still king of the handheld market, hands-down. Though PSP has a few gamed I'd like to play, no one does portables like Nintendo.

That, and why would I buy a phone to play games on it?
