Poll: Is the voice acting in Fable 2/1 Annoying as hell or Music to your ears?

I'm just making a quick poll to see if its only me that cannot stomach the fable 'oldy' style english for the voice acting.

Its not so much that the voice acting is bad, but how much time must elapse before they say their next line. I can't stand waiting around that extra 5 seconds before they say the next line to the quest. It just seems like they themselves are lagging and then I go to accept the quest and another line comes spewing out of their mouths. So, I'm not picking any of your choices and I'm going to say the voice acting is great, just fix up the timing of said voices.

Nobody did that worse than in Bioshock. Especially with the subtitles of madness ^_^;;

Better than American "cowboy" style English.

So no it doesn't suck in my opinion.

I agree, however the oldy style english is still erk. It's a bit like the lesser of two evils.

I agree with you guys, but I'll be honest here. It would amuse the hell out of me to see one of the people in Fable 2give a quest something along the lines of:

"Them dang bugs are eating my food! Y'all wanna give me a hand a clear'em out?"

It wouldn't feel right, but damn would I laugh....

It dosn't matter to me, I turn the sound off and put the subtitles on in prety much every game i play, I would just rather listen to some metal than the game

Well, I only played at a friends house for an hour, and it already got "as annoying as hell", making the Star Wars prequel seem a masterpiece of acting.

Yeah, I'm reffering to the random pauses in crucial scenes.

I think it fit the tone of the world (a fable, if you will, with a sense of humor and irony - and not a little British silliness). Of course, the stilted nature of the voice acting was still mega-annoying.

I like Fable 2's voice acting so far. Well, except for that annoying ***** of a sister you get. I hate her
