Okay my previous post was "Why Should I Love Morrowind" basically, I got cluster-fucked by a lot of people saying three things, "Because it's much better in every way than oblivion" or "I agree with you, it wasn't really a good game" or "To each his own" to sum it all up. But recently, I had this idea, what if (And I don't mean modding) Bethesda were to remake Morrowind, you know, better graphics, a physics engine, loading times that weren't ridiculous (For console versions I mean) and maybe a few extra quests, towns, and characters thrown in for good measure. I'm thinking of a legitimate remake, for consoles, PC's everything, so Yay or Nay?

I dont like remakes.
Most of the time atleast
They change too much
And it turns into a game loosely based on another game.

If they could get the amazing feeling of exploration the first one had in the remake, all is good, and, even though i strongly disliked the combat system,we'll keep it for continuitie's sake, and for fuck's sake, no cliffracers, god i hated them....

I think they might remake the first elder scrolls first. Maybe it wasn't as popular but it could also use a major remake. I havn't played much of the elder scrolls before oblivion but I thnk i would go for every ramake of the series if it was make in the image of obliivion.

Hell Yes!

Seriously, the main reason I don't play games is because the engine is very important to me. I have heard so many times that Morrowind is freaking awesome, so I'd like that very much yes. Plus, the opportunity to make an elderscrolls without loading times (whatsoever) would be perdy neat-o.

I voted no as the chances of them fucking it up would be way too high. Also, I'd prefer it if Bethesda put their time into making a new game.

If I recall somebody has managed to recreate the entirety of Vvardenfell as a player-made expansion for Oblivion. Here. [http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16976]

No, they should make a brand new Elder Scrolls game, preferably set in Skyrim (The Nord homeland? Or was it called Highrock?).

I would definitely buy a Morrowind remake though.

Oh, and by the way... http://morroblivion.com/

No. It's good as it is, and I don't like remakes anyway. They could provide patches and DLC's for graphical upgrades, but not a full on remake.

Hmm, Morroblivion looks nice, but I'm talking about a full scale remake, though I do like the look of morroblivion.

If they can get the pure cool of Morrowind , the humour of a game like Fallout 3, the voices of Patrick Stewart (oblivion) and Liam Neeson (fallout 3) then i would buy it the second it came out.

The story in Morrowind was spectacular. The problem is, if you have Morrowind for the PC, theres no reason to get a remake because the mods can fix any problem that people may have had with it (graphics, combat). So, what I am saying is, maybe you should make Morrowind with some of the best mods out there (optional use) and updated graphics for the 360 and PS3, but not for the PC, cause it's pointless.
