With Kinect (Natal) and Move just around the corner, I was curious if people on the escapist were going to get either of them.

I was going to get Kinect for playing a few interesting titles like the Forza Motorsport game, but a $150 price and $60 for each game, many of which warrant maybe a $10 price have but me more on the edge of not getting it.

We just had this same thread a few hours ago...

If I'm going to get anything, it'll likely be Move. It looks like it may actually work well and if it truly does live up to what I think it may do, it could be very worth it.

Neither, unless there is an AMAZING deal on "move". I won't pay more than $60 though.

Neither.

Also, the only thing in the latest trend I like is possibly including natal and 3D.

I know that it's the job of the marketing guys too make something shitty look look like gold, but, Kenect really does look cool.

This, although I'm much, MUCH more skeptical than any of this crap is worth it. Would I like my 360 to power on with a mere word from my voice? Sure, that'd be nice, but no way in hell I'm paying that much more money for it. Move is a bit more acceptable if only for the price, but that too may be little more than a gimmick for some time.

I wouldn't get either, honestly. I have a Wii, and if I want to play with motion controls, I would just play it. Which I do, but for entirely different reasons. I think Sony and Microsoft are a little bit late to the party. Nintendo has already wrung the market out by this point, and all Move and Kinect can hope to do is either rekindle the market's interest or attempt to steal some cash off of the big N's sales by stopping the parents and younger siblings of PS3 and 360 owners from buying Wiis. That being said, I also own a PS3, and if there's a great deal on Move and some impressive 1:1 motion controls, then I MIGHT get one. It's gonna take some convincing, though. As for Kinect, it's good in concept, and with proper execution it could be great, but I wouldn't buy a 360 for it.

Neither, it is not fun in the long run and can give me very little interesting gaming experiences.
