Pottermore has gotten major a makeover, and with it has come a brand new sorting hat quiz! Some are dismayed, some are delighted, but all are going to have to sit down and deal with it! I took the quiz once before, and I was a loud and proud HUFFLEPUFF. And surely enough I got the same result this time around.

PUFFS UNITE.

So, are you happy with what's been done to the site? Are you happy with the new quiz and your new result if you retook? Or do you find the whole concept rather silly? LET'S TACO BOUT IT!

Ugh, I got Gryffindor. How boring. I was hoping for Ravenclaw or Slytherin. But I also didn't want to try and fudge the quiz and force it in a certain direction. I guess that's why I'm in Gryffindor. I'm just too bloody honest for my own good.

I was Hufflepuff when I took the old test, this time I'm Gryffindor. That's cool, though a little generic, the questions were so vague I'm not sure how I ended up with the result. Which is good, obvious questions like "are you brave?" effectively allow you pick your own house.

Not registering on a fan site just to take the quiz. So I guess I'm a squib. I like the books, but not enough to register for a fan chat site on it.

I want to do this, but the "reset password" email won't arrive. Tried several times now.

EDIT: Alright, I reregistered with an alternative email address. I'm a Slytherin!

Pottermore is the creation of JK Rowling herself [http://www.theguardian.com/books/2011/jun/23/pottermore-website-jk-rowling-harry-potter]. She writes most of the material, and she designed the sorting ceremony thingy.

I'm pretty sure I don't need to take any sort of test to know I'd be a Gryffindor. But I'll take your lousy test, anyway.

RESULT: A-yup. I'm in the house with the brave people. What a shocker.

Not that I've ever taken the test, but I am quite certain I fall squarely in Ravenclaw.

"Ravenclaw! We'd be proud, but pride in biological predispositions is illogical!"

I've always been Hufflepuff in the quizzes I've taken in the past, and I've been proud of that. I think hard work and good morals will take you much farther in this world than bravery, smarts, or selfishness will take you alone.

I feel like I've changed a lot since I last took one of those quizzes so I'm excited to see if I get a different result.

I've been trying to get my brother and sister to take these quizzes to see if they get the same, but they never want to

I got House Hawkshroud. Proud, noble, with an affinity for Oaths and personal combat. I'm hoping to have my own Castigator at some point.

Well fuck, got Hufflepuff again. Which is weird, I lied about my classmate cheating, and I chose Power, thought for sure I would get Slyhterin

Puff Pride Bitches!

Edit: Actually I'm most surprised by my wand: Redwood wood with a Unicorn hair core 12 ?" and Rigid flexibility

Being redwood, unicorn hair, and rigid all suggests I'm a very consistent person, which is weird because I feel like an entirely different person every month

Just like before
I'm Gryffindor!

The old and the new test agree; it's to Gryffindor that I belong.

I'm a squib! I'm a kid! I'm a squib! I'm a kid! I'm a squib! I'm a kid! I'm a squib! I'm a kid! I'm a squib! I'm a kid! I'm a squib! I'm a kid!
Other than that, the last time I took a Sorting Hat quiz, I got Ravenclaw... because "Gryffinclaw" doesn't exist, I guess...

Ah don't worry about your old account info, you have to make a new account anyway, lol. They destroyed the old Pottermore the same way an atomic bomb destroys a dinner party.

I think you can use your old email address. I re-registered with the same email I had before and it gave me no trouble. I think they should have made that a bit more clear...

I remember taking this before,
I ended up in Ravenclaw.
And on this quiz to get in,
I ended up in Slytherin.

I have no idea why I wrote that in verse.

At least I won't have to suffer the house of future villains and nameless villainous mooks alone.

On a side note, what wands did people end up with? I got Larch with dragon heartstring. Larch apparently means I've got hidden talents (can I find out what those are because I have no clue) and the heartstring is suited to the dark arts.

Huh. Maybe that combination means I get to be a named villainous mook? Well, I can either be a turncoat or die in a blaze of glory to show the advancement of the protaganist.

I got Gryffindor because I have so little concern for my well being that I don't mind committing suicide so that my friends can carry on, I'm pretty sure that what I interpreted as resigning myself to be murdered by a troll so that my friends can escape, is what the test thought was brave, in any case I'd be the most cynical, cold ant distant Gryffindor ever.
