I think I may have pissed of a female friend of mine :/
I just meant that she is beautiful in person, but cameras fucks her up :p (did not say that)

Also, I could need some advice on that.

If you say it in the context of taking a picture then it shouldn't be taken as an insult. Like if she complains that she doesn't look good in the picture, then you could submit the proposal that she isn't photogenic. But if you say it randomly then it could be taken as a thinly-veiled insult.

It was rigth after I had tried taking two pictures of her, both ending up terrible (at least compared to how she looks in real life).

Pictures always show people uglier than they are. For that reason we have Photoshop :)

Anyway, I wouldn't mind at all if I were called "not photogenic". Why? Because I know I'm not. And from my observations it's sometimes easy to insult women without wanting to.

"Not photogenic" is code for "ugly".

"Distinguished" means "old".

"Cozy" means "smaller than mine".

Personally no, but you should weigh your words carefully around women. They don't think as we do, 'cause they're different and shit.

I gotta go with this. This is the most likely reaction when using those words. Hey you could always comfort them by saying "You may not be photogenic, but with photoshop you can be". I'm horrible. :p

Yeah but... who would you be talking to that describes something of yours as cozy that has the same thing as you but bigger? Unless your talking about... hands or feet I guess... without delving into the inappropriate.

I know plenty of people who don't photograph well, hell just look at anyone's Drivers License or Passport photo, those things are universally horrid.

If the person themself admits it, that's not insulting, it's self-deprecating. If someone says it to a person it could be construed as insulting.

females are always sensitive to that kinda stuff, she probably did take it in a bad way, its not an insult but it can be interpreted the wrong way.

I cannot feign a smile for the life of me, so I always look awkward in pictures. I have counteracted this by just doing goofy things in pictures, instead of smiling.

But surely she would have known she wasn't photogenic, because she would have seen thousands of pictures of proof by now. You cannot hide from the truth!
