Poll: Preffered hair color?

So I was having a conversation with my sister... Long story short, She thinks guys with dark hair look best, slightly insulted(due to having blond hair XD), I argued that blond looks best on guys. Dumb conversation I know, but we were bored.
All this got me wondering enough that I got off my lazy butt and made a poll about it. So what do you think?

I tend to prefer my women with Brown or Black hair... but I'm open to any hair color that looks good on them!

Well, as a man, I have long dark hair, so that would probably be my natural preference. I will say though, the stereotypical Scandinavian long blonde hair certainly looks great as well.

As for women, hmm. I can like pretty much anything as long as it isn't in-your-face anime colours. Brown hair would probably be my preference though, or maybe red. I do like fiery redheads. I'll just go with brown though, I guess. Seems like a rather accurate answer.

Now that I had to think about it I kinda like my men folk to have brown or dark hair, but I went with brown since I'm boring.

That and I live in an area where brown is the prevailing color so I can appreciate a man with a certain shade of brown hair.

I suppose, given my previous girlfriends, I don't really have much of a preference; I've been with at least one girl with each of the general listed hair colours. My current girlfriend is blonde though, take from that what you will

EDIT: Suppose I should mention, I have medium/long (almost down to my shoulders: length depends on opinion i guess), dark brown hair. Although it's so damn thick, it looks almost black at times.

I prefer darker hair on a guy. I've never really gone for someone with lighter hair.

I prefer red, with dark brown and black coming in at a close second. I find dark hair most appealing. The various shades of blond are meh, though I find platinum is sexy as fuck for some reason. Light brown just seems bland.

I must admit though, that I love non-natural color hair, i.e. blue, green, purple. Especially pink.

Edit: Oh, and I myself have dark brown hair, with a bit of natural copper highlighting. My beard shines almost red in sunlight...

For guys, I like medium-to-long dark brown hair.

As for girls, I'd say I prefer red or black hair.

As a brown-haired Big Daddy myself, I'm feeling rather smug about how the poll results for men are shaping up right now.

Anyhow, my favourite hair colours for either gender are as follows from favourite to least: black, dark brown, blond, light brown, red, dyed hair. I'm generally a sucker for darker features although blonde can be nice too if it's natural, don't really find any unnatural hair colours attractive.

Although strangely enough my beard tends to look a bit like copper even though i have dark brown hair.

I think it's important to consider the hair colour of the beholder as well.

I have an anecdotal theory that many people are attracted to each other in terms of differences rather than similarities.

For example, I'm caucasian. My eyes are green/grey, my skin is pale (not withstanding a tan), and my hair has steadily changed from snow white as a baby, to dark brown now (although I am in my advanced age of 33 getting flecks of silver through it now ...).

I have always found myself attracted to red heads, and girls with black hair (my wife, for example, is Korean-Japanese, so naturally black hair). These are two colours I shall never be naturally, so I've wondered if there may be a genetic mingling impulse there.

Although that said, my son - being half asian and half caucasian - is remarkably white in appearance. People basically say he is a spitting image of me, but with slight epicanthic folds and a slightly flatter/rounder nose. I have a daughter due any day now too ... I'll keep you posted.

As a girl who's into other girls, I prefer darker hair for both myself and anyone I'd get into a relationship with, though I'm open about other colors since it's not my priority.
