So, I finally got around to finishing Sands of Time today, despite it being the first game I ever got on my PS2. I guess I just neglected it for other games, and due to my utter joblessness at the moment, I can't get any new games, so I'm plowing through my (extensive) back catalogue. Timesplitters: Future Perfect was the first to take a thumb blitzing from me about 4 days ago and I've spent about 2 days running, jumping and slashing through PoP.
Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I want to know your thoughts.

EDIT: Won't let me correct the awful grammar mistake in the poll. My apologies.

Very good, if a bit short.

I played it through in one sitting on the day of it's release and haven't played it since though so I can't really remember, but I remember loving it.

Excellent game although a bit repetitive in the combat department, still it will always be in my top 20 games because when it came out it was a masterpiece.

I enjoyed it, but both of it's sequels(Warrior Within and the Two Thrones) improved on it's gameplay and story. SoT had the best character progression though.

This sums my feelings up nicely. The story-telling was excellent and the combat was good (if not a bit repetetive), and much (if not all) of the climbing in modern gems like God of War or Uncharted was ripped in its entirety from PoP.

It may be drowned out as time goes on and so many immitators arise, but back then it was pure gold.

I loved it. Loved the characters, loved the platforming, tolerated the combat...
Yeah, that bit fell flat, but at least they new the jumping stuff was better. Warrior within had better combat, but there was way too much of it, and the angsty dialogue was pretty jarring. The chemistry between the two in the first game was great.

Good, but damned far from perfect. My main annoyance was from the controls, which is probably a platform thing. Oh, and it's a bit overrated IMO, but I still think it's good.

I enjoyed it except for the damn birds
The birds were easy. Block and swing is all you had to do.
