Not when you have to build additional pylons.
Well yes, pylons are necessary, but cannons are still the best defense, and make the Protoss worth playing.
I wasn't serious. I love the protoss. They have the coolest units and best units (If most stuckupish units) in general. (In general, all you Ghost fans)

Zerg because you can technically have over two hundred units without cheating, and you can have your eggs ready to hatch as reinforcements. The Terran are the worst units in the history of RTS's and the only strategy I ever use with the Protoss is: build a bunch of carriers, build a bunch of interceptors, attack enemies, which gets boring even though it always works. The Zerg offer many different strategies, most of which work out.

I like playing as Protoss the most, since they're the simplest, and have big tank units.

From a flavor standpoint, I like Zerg the most.

I begin and end the game with dragoons.
Here's the thing that I hate about Dragoons; you can be a microing MASTER, and you'll still have half of those fuckers run around like chickens with their heads cut off.
ha ha ha yeah, that's why I always get at least a hundred before I go into battle...I still lose fifty to stupidity. XD

Easily countered with .5 Defiler/Carrier and by always having a nice satchel of Scourge behind the front lines (which you should ALWAYS have in case of Capital Ships entering the fray.)

I hate how people think that Carriers are the greatest thing ever... they're so easily destroyed as long as you know the basics of microing...

With the Terran, all you need is a Science Vessel with EMP Shockwave and a squad of Wraiths trained on the Carrier; Bam, you just wiped out half a squad of Carriers for half the price of what your foe paid.

Anyone wantin' to play a game? I'm itchin' to get back in.

Goliaths are badass, and yet, zerglings rape them. Therefore, Zerg rule.

It's a bit hard to play when the game won't run on anything but my dad's old testing machine. I'll be game for Starcraft 2 though.

why so many Terrans? I find it strange people would go out of their way to get game that isn't limited to earth and choose to be human, lol

I've tried every setting possible for XP, the fault is my shiny new video card. Nvidia just doesn't like the old stuff. The game runs, I just can't see anything.

Terran! Rawrr, machine guns and sexy medics!
The smexy medics are getting taken out from Starcraft II

I usually play as Terran or Protoss. Although I am better at Zerg but I don't have much experience with Zerg, but I like some of thier units (For example, that thing that evolves from a hydralisk, you know. Attacks when burrowed?). The main reason I don't play Zerg is because I find them sought of... creepy (Pun not intended)

you know what would be better then a starcraft game...a starcraft movie just thing about it for a a while it would have an awesome plot and stuff...
My idea of a StarCraft movie would be about these guys playing in a StarCraft tournoment, and in the end the scrub member of the team builds a proxy (That is, a pylon used out side of the contructer's base used for telerportation) and warps in a massive army... So yeah, it sounded better in my head. After the tourney the cast go to Seoul, and in the sequel they get captured by the North Korean Goverment and made to play for thier lives in the brake of another civil war between North and South Korea, and during the match, north Korea nukes south out side of the game. The only reason north managed to nuke south was because the south's Air Force were the ones fighting the main cast.

I just relised something. What I just said about my idea of a StarCraft movie was poorly punctuated. Can someone please try and make another detailed post to describe what ever I just said?

What you just said was completely fictional.
Valkaries are a much better counter to Carriers than Wraiths.

Valkyrie are those irritating missile salvo things right? Yeah. I don't play Terran too often in Brood War, so I kinda forgot about those.

But the EMP Shockwave point stands.
