I'm a man and I've shaved down there only once before. I'm 21 and pretty hair, I only used a clipper on no.4 setting so it wasn't that short. It's just it was ridiculous before. I didn't really see any pros or cons, so I might do again in the future or I might not.

I think shaving certain areas is generally a good idea.

You never know when you might get food poisoning.

A man; I wouldn't say I shave. That's a little extreme--uncomfortable as hell, too--but I do like to keep it trimmed. Nothing says "turn off" like a big ol' tumbleweed.
As for others, as in the opposite sex, I generally like the same. A little tidy, but some ain't bad. But completely shaved off isn't terrible either. I guess I'm not too pick about it.

I prefer my woman to be shaved and prefer what my woman wants for myself.

When I'm single, I'm shaved. When I'm in a relationship, it therefore depends.

I'm male (20) and shave, I just find it alot more comfy not having body hair, and I've been that way always. (Besides, I dont need to compensate with the lack of hair ;) )

I keep it maintained. I usually prefer at least some on my sexual partner of either gender. I've been with 3 stages of a guy- untrimmed, trimmed, and full smooth. I find trimmed to be the most agreeable.

As a side note, razor burn on your lady bits freaking hurts!

No i dont. It maybe be a little cynical to say, but: "if no one is going to see the 'house', why bother with 'yard work'?"

Not often, but when it's my first time with a girl the best assumption is she's not a fan of hair.

Never really had the opportunity to do it properly.
I'm intrigued. How can this be?
Well...have you ever heard of free time?

I haven't.

And I think you need to go to some sort of specialist to get it done for you.

I trim, but I've never shaved.

Apparently, it tickles.

I trim onnce a year so it doesn't turn from a bush to a tree. My fiancee doesn't because apparently it barely grows?

Yes, Yes, and Possibly.

I don't like the excess hair. I find it uncomfortable, unattractive, and overall undesirable. It makes me sad.

I'm not the hairiest person in the world, but I do heal very fast...hair included. Until a permanent option presents itself, compensating for it is a daily ritual.

I am a man, and I do not. I generally prefer that women do, unless it reveals something gross.

I do not shave(male) my private parts, I have tried this once before and feel it is not to my liking, it feels too unnatural. My preference is neither one nor the other in my prefered partner, I could say I like trimmed not bald or wild, whichever makes my partner feel more comfortable is really the only way i can put it. If the person I was with did not like me having hair I would simply state my reasons for why I do not and if they still felt it was something that could not be passed, then I don't know wither I would shave, or simply walk.

-I do not shave. Though if I dated somebody who wanted me to, I probably would.
-I find shaved girls significantly more attractive.
-I find unshaved girls to be somewhat of a turn-off. There's only one place I want to see hair on a lady, and that's her head. Arms are alright too as long as she doesn't look like a sailor. I can deal with a little downstairs hair, but not a lot. You can call this a double-standard, but men and women are not the same. And as I said, I would shave if I had a partner who asked me to.

Its not that it makes it look bigger, which it kinda does. Its that it makes it look... kinda... cleaner.

I'm a guy. I've shaved myself maybe... three times. And cut myself and least twice. I did it out of curioustiy and it felt kind of nice. But it also looked pretty ridiculous because of my hairy thighs.

And as long as it isn't EVERYWHERE, then I don't mind hair on women. I think I prefer the landing strip over complete hair removal, though.

I prefer waxing, its smoother and lasts longer. Plus none of that irritation you get with shaving. Its also more hygienic to keep a clean engine room; less hair means less sweat means less chance of adverse health issues. Never found that an increase or decrease of pubic hair would make your member seem larger or smaller, loosing weight will have a much greater apparent increase in size.

In ancient Rome men would grow beards to hide physical "deformaties" such as acne, scarring or excessive fat buildup on the neck. So seeing hair down there always makes me wonder;
"What are people hiding?" (besides the obvious)
