To those of you who have seen this episode (I'm watching it right now, might be a brand new episode, not sure), who do you interpret Cartman's show as making fun of. Shaun Hannity? Glenn Beck? Rush Limbaugh?

I personally think he most resembles Glenn Beck with his persistent use of the word "socialist" when he means "fascist" and his ignorant libel justified because it is posed as a "question".

Who do you think the episode is spoofing?

Note-

I did not put any liberal talk show hosts on the poll because South Park is clearly a liberal show and makes fun of conservatives at every opportunity.

Isn't his tv show set kind of like Glenn Beck's?

I don't know. I haven't seriously watched the man's show since his... third episode with CNN. His first two episodes, he was actually a semi-reasonable counterpoint to view to my extreme left beliefs. However, after about his third CNN show he went what I'd call "batshit bonkers" and I couldn't watch him.

First he was Rush Limbaugh, then he was Fox News, then he was Glenn Beck. It was hilarious.

One thing South Park is not is liberal; every chance it gets, it goes out of its way to spoof, satirize, badmouth, tease, and criticize everything. Unlike most other comedy shows, South Park has no allegiance to petty political alignments, instead opting to poke fun at all sides of an issue.

I have no idea how you got the idea it was liberal.

This. It was a brand new episode, so most people haven't seen it yet. Though I loved how he began transforming into a worse right-wing nut as the show moved on, finally ending with Beck: crying on the air because our nation is becoming more "socialist" and generally being batshit insane. When the episode started it was definitely Limbaugh though, as he was on the "radio" and disguising his insults as "questions".

Haven't seen it, but I can guess. If it's Beck, Cartman cries alot, Hannity he's being a D-bag, and Limbaugh he's slamming the desk alot. Make a combination of all three for a general conservative talk show (haw haw haw).

note: And yes, it will happen.
