The only correct answer:

You know, this reminds me of a little comic in the Power Unlimited magazine; unfortunately, I cant find on the interwebz.

At the release of Assassin's Creed 1, there was a little comic strip with Altaír interacting with other Ubisoft characters. The Prince (Prince of Persia) was daring him to jump of a tall building, so Altaïr takes his signature swan dive into a cart of hay. However, Sam Fisher was diguised amongst the crowd in the street and secretly moved the cart a little off, causing Altaïr to smack straight into the ground.

He's a vampire! He hides in shadows and mist! Also, not so easily killed.

Snake, I may like Sam fisher a lot. But Snake has literally saved the world, and walked down a microwave hallway. All in a days work, also he survived every time.

Doesnt kain have a huge death penalty on his head and in some cases leads an army and makes himself well known? I mean, I've only played Blood Omen 2 (I know, shame on me), but he pretty much goes out of his way to reveal himself to the Sarafan Lord, and the Sarafan Lord (as well as some of his Vampire Generals) specifically tells a few of his guys to look out for Kain.

OT: I'd say Garrett, cause his games are called Thief, which basically screams stealth.

Yes, but to be fair, the Sarafan Lord is dead. Soul Reaver 1 Kain is Kain who conquered the future of Nosgoth. Soul Reaver 2 Kain is Kain that's traveling time and being a sneaky bastard. By the time we hit Defiance, we don't actually have huge armies on the lookout for him anymore, or at least knowledge of his coming for the most part.

Thief 2: The Metal Age is the greatest stealth game of all time. No this is not a point of discussion, you're just wrong. Only Garrett can steal from every house in town and still live in a shitty apartment.
