If you compared the two right now which would you say is the more interesting series?
You can include to compare everything spawned by each series.
Tv show
Comics
Anime
etc

(Also if theres another series youd suggests adding)

there's no poll

I've never seen supernatural and I have no idea what its about so I can't judge between them but I do know that The Walking Dead is awesome. The TV show is only grand right now but from ready the comic I know what's coming and I'm really excited about it. I don't like what they're doing to Shane in the show though

Versus threads are frowned upon on the escapist. The Walking dead is a brilliant comic with an alright tv show. Supernatural is enjoyable enough when you ignore all the stuff they rip off.

I've only watched the first series' of both shows but so far I prefer Supernatural. They're both great shows and they're completely different so its not really fair to compare them.
Also, I find your lack of poll disturbing.

I grew tired of the Supernatural path of solving a mystery every episode. But i did love the overarching story they had going.

Right now i have to say that i prefer The Walking Dead.

I enjoy both but I prefer Supernatural, the chemistry between Sam and Dean and the self-referencal humour are both great and there's so many other great things about the series.

I will promptly screw the rules and vote for Death Valley, as the Captain dude is utterly awesome....and creepy.

The first season of The Walking Dead was extremely good but the second season seems to have forgotten it's supposed to be a show about people surviving in a zombie apocalypse and not a drama that just happens to have a zombie sub-plot.

With Supernatural whilst it's not quite as good as it once was and they've made some questionable decisions when it comes to direction they still manage to get across a good amount of action and storyline without compromising.

I would say that I enjoy both of the series.

If I would be forced to choose I would go with Supernatural, mainly due to the fact that they have "supernatural/mythical" creatures and it involves the battle between heaven/hell and all that jazz which is just simply awesome.

SUpernatural, I enjoy more of the characters and find them more engaging thn the couple of episodes I watched of walking Dead.

I especially loved the episode where the take the piss out of having to make a 6th Season for it, when the wanted to end it at 5.

No shit. I totally wouldn't have noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out. Way to make a contributing post.

OT: From what I've seen of Walking Dead (the first few episodes, can't remember how many), I like ti a lot better. But I hear it's gone downhill a bit.

The Walking Dead is the pique of TV Entertainment for me atm. Only because Archer isn't showing right now. =P The first season set it up perfectly and gave me that shaking feeling I get when I watch a really good show. I haven't had that since the first season of Archer. (and never before that) The characters are great and I can just feel the tension between the characters. It engrosses me so much that I end up saying things like "Why would you do that, that's not how you're gonna survive! You'll kill them all". It makes me judge what's happening as if I were a survivor.

They both piss me off :O
Walking Dead's midseason ended with a dead person.

Supernatural's midseason may have ended with a dead person.
How many recurring characters are left?? They're all gone. Crowley, sure. But he rarely appears anymore since the Purgatory arc is over.
