Took the words right out of my mouth.

The misuse of the words there, their or they're, don't really bother me and I always try my best to use them correctly.

YEs. It's so damn simple I don't know how you can screw it up.

Their friend said, "They're going to the park, over there!"

Holy shit I almost had to divide by zero to get that to come out right... *facepalm*

I find most grammar problems on the internet annoying, but I try not to point them out to people, because they are so common.

And besides, no one knows how to use a motherfunking semi-colon.

Fact. I have no idea how; it just irks me to no end!

Maybe it's actually just people who are just too lazy to hold down shift to get the ":"

Yep. This and the you're/your things REALLY seriously annoy me. Come on, folks, learn your native language. Stop being lazy. If a person is making a serious argument in a post and uses bad grammar, I have a hard time taking them seriously. My first thought is, "They're either too lazy to study or they're uneducated enough to not know their subject." I have to remind myself that it may not be the case.

I'm of the opinion that if you can write properly in an essay, don't become lazy and write like a stroke victim. They're/there/their is just one thing that pisses me off. You're/your does too.

I am a grammar nazi and proud of it!

It can be annoying, but when they forget to use the upper case I it actually makes me furious. I don't know why, I just cannot stand it.

It does annoy me sometimes, although I tend to ignore it.

I always do mind my spelling and grammar when I'm writing something, anything in any language. It's just common courtesy to treat your answers properly. At least, I think it is.

it's one of those things that drives me crazy when I'm reading someone else's posts. even if they make a valid argument, stupid grammar mistakes make me take the person less seriously

It really didn't irritate me until I came here. Now I get mad when I have to type it out of necessity in games.

If they are my friend I don't care, I just find it funny, but will correct them just to be a prick.

Otherwise it irritates the hell out of me, which is something I might have to work on.

I'm pretty lax about how people write (after all, I don't always get it right myself), but the "Their/There/They're" anomaly is very vexing. It's one of the few spelling/grammar mistakes that bother me to end.

Ha, I always get them right, and use them correctly.

I am awsome :D

Their refers to their possesions.

There refers to a place.

And They're refers to "They are", just abbreviated.

And now you all know.

That should be f' it, you're removing the "uck", which is what the apostrophe signals.

Just to annoy you :D

And yes, it does irritate me. The other thing that irritates me is this phenomenon of people writing things like "boi" and "2niittee". I get the whole "I'm abbreviating" thing, but when there's the same amount of letters what's the point?

Oh, and the "dis innt school" excuse is wearing real thin too...
