tbh if i want boobs i just look at free porn on the internet, i dont pay £40 just for a game to have boobs, yh sure it grabs my attention for a few seconds but other than that nothing
This is true, the animations do look a bit wonky. Apologies for the misunderstanding, however. I wasn't trying to say you thought sex had no place in the medium. I don't think I'd want to actually watch sex in a game, though. I'd still be fine if there wasn't any to begin with, honestly. If I wanted to watch sex that badly, I'd just go find some porn. But that's just me.DustyDrB said:Oh, I'm not saying sex shouldn't be in the game because it just has no place in the medium. I'm just saying it bothers me because it just looks so awkward. The animations are always terrible.ExiusXavarus said:Now honestly, I can't say that sex in games bothers me, though. If it's a part of the game, then it's a part of the game. If handled well and handled maturely, I think sex can help make a game better. I don't think it should be a selling point, however. Even as a teen, I bought games based upon how much fun I thought I'd have, rather than how many ridiculously proportioned women in skimpy clothes were on the cover/in the game.
Porn is restricted to the confines of reality, and the "actors" and sets scrounged up by the director.ExiusXavarus said:This is true, the animations do look a bit wonky. Video Games, especially Fantasy, can be anything. Chick with tits is boring. Chick with tits getting laid is boring. Chick with tits fighting legendary beasts, dashing over spectacular landscapes, and dancing naked on top of a mailbox right in the middle of town... now THAT'S interesting!
But it's not as effective when the only place it exists is in your mind. If you can program it into an interactive virtual world you can actually see and play around with, it becomes a LOT more meaningful.ExiusXavarus said:Yeah, but my own imagination can do MOOOOORRRRREEEE! :3Scow2 said:Porn is restricted to the confines of reality, and the "actors" and sets scrounged up by the director.ExiusXavarus said:This is true, the animations do look a bit wonky. As someone who works in internet/cable sales, I can safely say your little graph there is a perfect representation of what I see with coworkers. I strive to be the guy on the left, low pressure, helpful, and friendly, while at least one of my co-salesmen is the guy on the right. He may still get numbers, but he has a lot more pissed off customers than I ever do.loc978 said:basically...

The box art of a given game has very little effect on me, other than to insult or not insult my intelligence... and insulting box art has never kept me from buying a game, nor has beautiful, non-insulting box art caused me to buy a game. I've honestly never understood how pushy advertising and hype actually manage to appeal to people.
Also, there are these littles thing called gameplay demonstrations...
