I'm going vampire. I rarely go out in daylight anyway(apart from school) and being able to fly(even as a bat) may be quite fun.

Oh and also I could go about my hunts

Oh and the hypnotic stare would solve most problems....unless they are the kind that involve pitchfork wielding peasants with torches.

I'm also not religious so crosses wouldn't be a problem. I'm gonna ignore the garlic weakness because that one doesn't make sense.

excuse me but where is that pic from anyways?
It's Yugo from Bloody Roar (a fighting game series about characters that can transform into were-beasts mid battle. It's actually pretty good.).
long as they're not playing Bloody Roar 4 >.> just sayin, stick with 3
Isn't Primal fury the same thing as Bloody roar 4, actually? In that case...that's...uh..That's the only one I've played. And I actually really liked it.
if its the Xbox or game cube one then it's mechanically 3, even if plot elements differ, so you should be golden :D

I'm going to have to cast my lot in with the lycans, here. For a variety of reasons, really. I like vampires, I really do. But, first off, I love the wilds. Forests, tundra, plains, being away from civilization. Primal, rough, capable. These things appeal to me. And on top of that, if I were legitimately given the opportunity to become *insert list of characteristics mentioned in first post here* you have no idea how excited I'd be.
Seriously. It'd be like Christmas, Halloween, and my Birthday all rolled into one.
Hmm... we should make a new mythical variation of humans that has to do with cats. Vampires = bats, werewolves = wolves. ? = cats.
This. This would be badass. I'd still prefer being a lycanthrope, but I know a number of people who would pounce(oh god I'm sorry. No pun intended) on that idea.

Your werewolves seem a bit OP.
They don't have the once a month forced uncontrollable turning into a beast idea that is kind of the staple for werewolves.
You seem to tilt this heavily towards them, seeing as you can selectively choose when to engage in being a monster, capability to direct it. The only downside to that is the general anger issues faced in day to day life.
I'm going human because I like keeping all my things intact, even when I'm playing a particularly annoying game.

Depends on the type of werewolf because if it's the kind where I just change into an oversized wolf then I'll pass.

Never mind

OT: Werewolf, easier to blend in, easier to do your werewolf thing as long as you keep track of the moon cycles, and the people you come into contact with who have silver on them, also if i get stranded out in the wild i have a coat of fur ready to go whenever i need it.

I'll be the minority and say I'll stick to being human. Physically inferior maybe, but humans lack the heavily exploitable weaknesses that werewolves and vampires have. basically; I'd rather not gain power at the cost of leaving a gaping hole in my defenses.
You do know that a silver bullet and a stake through the heart would kill a human too? A human left out in the sun all day would eventually die as well, just takes a lot longer than it would if you were a vampire. A handful of weaknesses is a hell of a lot better than the encyclopedia of weaknesses humans suffer from. Cant breathe underwater, having to breathe at all, cancer, loss of blood, breakable bones that heal slowly, internal hemoraging, heart disease, disease etc, et al.
Werewolves are vulnerable to even the touch of silver; even if not lethal, and getting silver stuck inside them is usually painful enough to incapacitate them until it is removed. Its hard to learn to control yourself as a Werewolf and the damage you could do during the learning period could be devastating to your friends and family. They are typically loud and very noticeable, making them easy to track down.

Vampires instantly incinerate from sunlight (it takes longer in some movies due to dramatic effect and artistic license) Vampires can't cross running water or enter buildings without permission, they are repelled by the cross, and garlic. and die from stake to the heart, and harmed severely (though temporarily in some sources) by holy water

Those guys have a whole HOST of exploitable weaknesses. While they have superior strength and speed to humans, a sufficiently trained and prepared human can still kick the ass of either of them. its untrained, unprepared humans that are fodder.
