Poll: What is your favorite kind of hat?

I decided I wanted to purchase a new hat today. I typed "Hat" into Amazon and got a huge mess of random hat styles and I really didn't know what to choose.

I already have a black Military Cadet hat and a Fedora that I wear because people find them somewhat intimidating when worn with my Faux Military Jacket or my Armani Suit respectively.

So what is your favorite style of hat?

EDIT: For those of you who are fans of Toques where I am from a beanie refers to a knit cap worn over the head in cold weather. They are more or less the same thing. The type of hat designed to look like an anime character is referred to as an Anime Beanie around here so it would also fall in that category. (My apologies for only including my local lexicon. Sorry for the confusion/inconvenience.)

EDIT: Seriously out of 200+ views nobody picked the beret? Is nobody a fan of both The Escapist and Free-form Jazz?

EDIT: Original option on the beret: No disrespect meant too the men and women of the world's armed forces who wear these as part of their uniforms. The Green Berets here in the United States.

EDIT: Nobody wears a Rasta or a Bucket Hat? Both are more common around here than Fedoras or Trilbys.

I had about twelve different kinds of hats ready to put into the poll but it only allows 8 choices. I chose the most common ones I see around where I live... excluding the top hat which I included for the joke and being confusingly common in the Amazon search.

Well, the only hat i own is a Royal Navy dress hat, and i don't wear that in public for obvious reasons.
Of course, nothing says class like a top hat or a bowler XD

Lol. He's a rapper who uses autotune all the time commonly wears vibrantly colored top hats. It was a sort of pop-culture joke. Check out Karaoke by T-Pain on youtube and you'll see what I mean.

I'm normally a ball cap kinda guy but I wear a toque if it's cold. For those of you who don't know what a toque is, go look it up; it is the symbol of AWESOME!

Eh my toque leaves me with terrible hat hair. Either I wear it all day or not at all. So I don't wear it too often.

OT: I dislike ball caps mainly because of general stupid people who wear them nowadays. Maybe thats thread worthy? But another time.

Fedora's take my vote for my favorite type of hat. If I thought I could do well with a top hat I bloody would, but a fedora just works better in more situations so it gained the edge.

If I need to wear a hat my toque will do, even during summer MWAHAHAHAA.
