Funny you should mention this: I just had arm- & hip sugery on Thursday, and when it heals, I'll probably will hsve sbout an 18" scar on my biceps.

I have a lot of scars-- and not because I'm cooler than anyone else but because I've been around a lot longer.

Just a few: triscillion sp? shape (think of the Mercedes-Benz symbol w/o the circle) scar just above my eyebrow, caused when my sister whack me with a garden hose

4" long scar on my finger & back of my hand where I a guy's helmet had a screw-edge sticking out while playing football.

Personally, I like my scars-- they all have a story to them. A book of blood shed.

I've got a couple, but nothing big. The most serious is a line on the outside of my eye socket where I had to get stitches. A kid threw a medal at me and just barely missed both my temple and my eye.

I've also got a pair of parallel lines across my finger from a nasty cat scratch (it looks pretty cool though, until I tell where it's from).

And I've got a couple of small scars on my forearms (just the ones that look like white lines).

I have a three-inch gash at the base of my right knee from when I fell on a nail. Surprisingly deep, that one. I could see muscle.
I have another, smaller one on my left knee from falling on a rock.
A have one on the top of my left foot. I sliced it open on something at the beach. I never found out what it was.
I have three fading ones on each forearm. My dog climbed over me in the car and dug her nails into me.
The skin on the inside of my hands is also slightly discolored. I got second-degree burns on each palm and first-degree burns down the length of each finger.

Most of these are from clumsiness or my own stupidity. No awesome stories here.

I have several scars on me but the only one that's really noticeable is on my chest starting on my collarbone and goes south for about 5in. I got it from one of my friends with a sharp bracelet while we were moshing.

- A surgical scar on the side of my stomach from an operation I had when I was a baby. I survived it, in case you were wondering.

- Finally I've got one on my forehead from when I was really young, like three years old. It turns out I'm not a train and I can't run through a radiator... I mean, for now, like. I'm working on remedying that problem through the use of expired mushrooms and creative surgery techniques.

I'll show that radiator who is boss one day. Just you wait.
On the first one good I though you were a ghost. On the second one same thing happened to me 3 years old and well the wall was made of bricks and rocks.

I have alot. :/

- One on my left cheek where I was pulling my skin with my hands and it started to rip open, freaky ass shit right there.
- A scar on top of my head where some concrete fell on it when I was younger. :/
- Lot's of scars on my knees from falling off my bike alot as a tot, I liked to do retarded things.
-A huge surgical scar on my bellybutton going about 2 inches upwards. I had a large gastrological surgery as a wee baby, it's really big because I'm about as tall as a lamp post. :/
- I got this scar on my nose where I cut it open falling on a table and it kind of healed badly.

Let's see, I have:
Several minor chicken pox scars on my face
One in the middle of my forehead from a run-in with a radiator when I was two(nice to see I'm not the only one!)
A black spot just under my kneecap from being stabbed with a pencil in fourth grade
A line line on my left shin where I hit it with a machete while cutting brush
A crown-shaped one just below it from whacking it on a stepladder
A round burn mark on the same shin from standing too close to a campfire
A pale rough patch on my right wrist from kissing a sidewalk at high speed
And a long reddish slash across my right calf that I got from an accident involving razor wire while deployed in the Middle East

I have a scar on the back of my left hand, from when my dog went crazy and ran over it at top speed with his long sharp nails. It wasn't painful it scabbed over immediatly. I now use it to help differentiate between my left and right hands (Yes, that sometimes is a problem with me) I also have a slight yet barely visible butterfly net shaped scar on my left arm from getting it caught under a moving treadmill (its a long story)

I lead a very violent childhood. As a result, I am covered with old scars. The most dominant are the ones you cannot see. I suffered muscle damage at one time in a scuffle with someone way older than myself, and the long term effects of that still show.

When you smile, you have two dimples that show up. I suffered muscle trauma to one side, so there are no dimples there. I have to force a super smile to get anything to show up, and at that point, it just looks weird, and creepy. So I favor half smiles.

Oh, the usual stuff, but I have an odd one on my tongue from when I had a retainer. It pressed in for so long that I have a permanent horizontal gap about the size of a tic tac.

I got a quarter inch scar on my thumb when I stuck it up one of those paper towel dispensers to get a paper towel. Cut myself on the blades you use to break off pieces of paper towel.

Yupp...that's it. I'm pathetic :(

Sure I have a few scars.
One on my right forearm from when I fell off a bridge onto some rocks, I was being an idiot and climbing on the outside of the guardrail with wet shoes who's laces refused to stay tied.
I have two scars on my right pinky finger, one from some metal thing on the bow of a boat and the other from a tomato slicer at McDonald's during the time I worked there. The latter one is the most bizarre because I'd grabbed the thing by it's freaken' handle.
I have a nice big burn scar on my right hand, which is another memento from working at McDonald's. Got a nice big splotch of hot grill acid (the shit used to clean the grills) and grease on the back of my hand.
I also have a scar on my right knuckle from punching through a the glass in a picture frame. The story behind that one I'm going to just leave to your imagination.
I have a few other scars on my hands from working as a PC repair technician. Working on the guts of PCs can be hard on the hands.

What is weird for me it that a lot of times I will just randomly have scars appear on my body and have not idea how they got there. I try not to get scars, but usually they just happen. I also have some acne scars. There are two scars that actually stand to mention.

1. When I was rather young, I was walking off of the bus to my house when I tripped over a lot of junk left on the bus steps. I fell off on to the driveway. At first I prayed I didn?t hurt anything, though I did notice I gashed open the front of my pants. I didn?t see any cut, but I still was worried. When I was inside, I had to check, so I rolled up my pants and I had this two inch sized chunk missing out of my shin. It healed up nicely, but apparently rocks had gotten into the cut when I first fell, and to this day I still have gravel imbedded into my right shin.

2.I was at my locker, bent over organizing my books in my backpack, all ready to get home. Behind me these two kids were goofing off shoving each other in the hallway. One of them shoves the other toward the wall. That kid winds up falling on me, which slams my head into the locker. I see the jerk get up smiling and leave. I figure, you know what, I am just going to go home. I have a three-day weekend and I don?t care. Then I see a red dot hit my hand. I see a few more drops down on the ground. There is a damp feeling on my head. I just, cup my hand somewhere on my head and walk to the nurse?s office. Apparently I hit harder than I thought, because I was hit so hard I had a two-inch gash on top of my head. Of course, it took me a while to even see it, because I will tell you that head wounds bleed a lot!
