I watch the credits to look for any unusual first or last names. Sometimes the music is really good too. There is also a drinking game you can do. The group agrees upon a name, and every time you see that name in the credits, you take a drink.

I usually let them roll and think about all of the most memorable moments in the game. Makes me feel like I accomplished something :)
This. In films I just tend to ignore them, unless I'm specifically curious about which person played a certain role (usually if I think I've seen them in something else and want to confirm).

I watch for some names but in games like LoZ:OoT and Shadow of the Colossus where there is a scene during the credits I'll pay attention to that.

I watch them and read the names. I also look for specific people in that list. Other times I just stare blankly or skip them.

"Watch them in hope that there will be a clip at the end possibly hinting at a sequel", but also to see what music was in the movie/game.
If it was good music, that is.

At home I usually wait until the end to see if there's an extra clip or something like that. At the cinema however, I usually clear out pretty quickly.

They never do something amusing with the credits, so I just ignore them.

I want to design a game with only 10 people, publish it, and make them put "Very short credits" as a selling point on the box.

There's not even a point in having those credits roll in at the end. We paid, they got their money, do we really need to thank them as well? I think not.
Make the list available in case someone wants to use one of your staff someday but they shouldn't make them mandatory.

Damn RPGs with their "Game save +"-files that can only be saved after the unskippable credits =_=

I will usually ignore them unless I have been TOLD there is a clip after them, or if I am trying to find out who the actor is that played a certain roll.

Ignore them. I honestly don't care, and I'm not waiting just to see if they hid a little clip at the end.

For games I always watch them to the end. Partly because I hope to see some epilogue or extra scene and partly because I feel that it is a good way to end a game by reading who has contributed and such.
For movies, I don't have to watch all of the credits, but I'll at least watch some of them.

...I let them buzz by and see if there's like a last-minute epilogue thing. You know, like a last funny bit or something similar.
This is the only reason I watch credits.

Sometimes, ignore them, sometimes, wait for an epilogue thing, and lastly, to see if someone in particular is mentioned.

I almost always watch the lot of them, at least the first time. A lot of hard work (Usually) went in to making the game so the least I can do is acknowledge its creators.

Game credits tend to be more interesting to watch and to listen to and games are more likely to have something afterwards and it just feels respectful so I at least watch game credits the first few times I beat it and try to watch the credits for movies I like at least once in my life.

I usually skip them(if I can, I HATE it when you can't skip the credits. And also games like Zelda that have no story after completion, they just take you back before you beat the game.) or don't watch them. I am kinda scared on some kinds of games in case there is anything important I don't want to miss.
