Poll: Which FPS this year.

So, Brink, HomeFront, Battlefield 3, COD MW3, and F3AR(yes it's considered horror game, but still)

This year, those games.... I'm not a fan of FPS games but if I buy one of those games would be Battlefield (Awesome graphics and BBC2 was brilliant).

What game/s are you going to buy?


PS: I know this year, Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm were out too. BUT Killzone3 is exclusive so i think that is somehow different and Bulletstorm for me was a non-fun game.

I forgot Crysis 2 , sorry for the fans out there, haven't played, but anyway i think the people that were going to buy this game already did. Again sorry.
My bad again I forgot about Duke Nukem, I'm one of those guys with the curiosity about that game never played any Duke game but it looks different

I'm buying Battlefield for PC, 64 player MP, nuff said, MW3 i'll try out at a friend's house, but i'm not buying it even if someone gave me the money and I didn't have to use my own. FEAR looks interesting, I might try a demo if one comes out to see if it's worth it.

Probably none of them. I was thinking of buying F.3.A.R just to see how much it'll suck. But then again...

While BF3 would be my recommendation, I feel it has to be pointed out that it is a very different kind of game than the rest, including the Bad Company series.

Selecting that based on your experiences with BF:BC2 probably isn't a good idea.



As for which I am going to buy / already bought, I was massively disappointed by HomeFront, having a fair bit of fun with Brink, Crysis 2 had a fun campaign,[footnote]Although I still hate Crytec for switching the series onto Consoles, fucking it up on PC in the process.[/footnote] BF3 is a must-buy which I've been looking forward to for a couple of years, and MW3 is a question mark, for now.

I will be getting Modern Warfare 3 and probably Homefront. Brink seems very interesting so I might get that too eventually if PSN ever comes back online.

Does Deux Ex count? It's more of a FPS/RPG.

Otherwise it'll come down to the big two, Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3. Very interested to see how it all pans out...

I thought Deux Ex was delayed for next year, anyway i think is on the same spot of F3AR, is not really a competition, people that will buy F3AR is because the horror, I saw the new trailer and it looks decent. Deux might be consider diferent than the others.

I will be sticking with KillZone 3 till Bioshock 3 comes out. Not into shooters so much, but I do love me some Bioshock and Infinite is looking awesome!

Also I'm reliving some old school with Serious Sam since it was this weekend's Steam sale.
