Now that gearbox has shown off all the characters who are you going to play as first. I'm thinking I'll use Nisha first since she has a lot of bonuses to pistols and I use those a lot anyway.

I might be getting the game ahead of my friend that I usually play with.
I say Clap Trap because that it probably who I'd use to solo the game first. But I am thinking Nisha for when I can play coop with my friend.

Claptrap looks too random.
Willhelm looks boring.
Athena looks terrible.
Nisha is the only class that looks like something I would play, because Revolvers are fun and two of them at all times+ an aimbot= fun class.

No one, because Borderlands 2 clusterfuck of nickel and dime shitty DLC and obnoxious as hell game design of BULLET SPONGES MAKE GOOD ENEMIES can go suck a pickle.
Also, I consider Claptrap to be one of the most annoying, headache inducing characters ever, and while the lot of them weren't so bad in 1, the one in 2 was worse, and now making one a character is just asking for me to rage.

I've finally come to the conclusion that I'm going to play as Athena.
Her skills seem like a blast and are pretty close to what I normally play as in Borderlands, or close enough anyways considering there isn't a siren. >.>
At some point I do plan on playing as Nisha since she looks like fun from what I can tell from previews. Morally questionable character that does nothing but kill all the things and kick all the puppies? Well, I'm so there.
Now, I just gotta find someone that will play with me since I'm kind of spoiled from the co-op goodness from BL2. :/

Probably Nisha. Her action skill makes you seem like the ultimate gunslinger.

as for the question, not claptrap but despite getting hyped for borderlands 2 and really enjoying it (DLC and all) the pre-sequel hasn't impressed me at all; though my friends are still buying it.
I was planning on Athena initially, but after finally seeing Nisha in action I'm debating on playing as her instead. I mean, I'll eventually play as both in the end, it's just a matter of who will go first.
I wasn't a fan of Wilhelm because his action skill is essentially like Roland and Axton's turrets except he gets two and they can fly, and Claptrap seems far too random. That and I take any chance to play as female characters as I can get.

I'm still not going to play it until it comes out on steam sale a year from now, but I am indeed looking forward to some goofy ass fun with that game. I enjoyed the hell out of BL 2 and the DLC's, especially the Assault on Dragon Keep, ending made me cry xD
So yeah, going to have fun with that game in the future!

Id say Wilhelm and Nisha look most appealing to me at the moment. However i cant find a decent video showing off Claptrap.
