Sure, why not? It'll take a couple of years following their release to be worth a shit anyway, right? This generation of consoles is still going to get some loving.

More processing power is always good. There is actually no reason to be opposed to a new console generation.
how about its only been recently when both systems actually started pumping out good games? This was the first console generation in which i waited THREE YEARS before i even had an urge to upgrade. and keep in mind previously i would be one of the first to buy a new console.

that and i dont see much of a graphic difference between current console and pc games. that said, end of 2014 would give each console about 5 years of actual life, which is good enough.

honestly graphics are very unlikely to improve whatsoever, with games as massive as skyrim we don't really need more processing power, the 600 dollar price tag is quite steep as would be the likely rise in the price for the games themselves, what use is progress when we've no place to go?

Im sorry but are you saying that a new release would make all the games released for it bad?

Again Im really sorry but I do not understand how that makes any sense at all...

If you honestly think that the graphic cannot be improved then I must sadly inform you that you are completely wrong.

An example bf3, low settings with no aa at 1280x720 on a computer is about what the current consoles can handle at 30fps...

And would be nice with more then 256Mbyte dedicated ram (ps3)
