I've been fascinated with it since its initial announcement at E3 last year but there are only a few games on it currently that interest me. Games like ZombiU look interesting but NSMB U looks like a copy and paste version of its predecessors. Any games recommended that are either out or coming out soon? Just wanted to see what you guys think.

Nope, I'm a member of the PC gaming master race, why would I need this device? xD

Nah.

I'm not interested in first-party Nintendo games and it doesn't have anything else going for it.

Maybe if they suddenly bust out 5+ excellent, must-buy, third-party games I'll cough up the cash. Until then, no deal, and I don't see that happening any time soon.

(ZombieU is pretty bad by the way. I only played an hour or so of it, but the flaws were obvious. It has that new console release problem of trying to make a use for every single feature and ending up as a big gimmicky mess.)

Maybe after there's a price drop and they release some good games on the system. Perhaps the next Zelda.

I'm still waiting for Etrian Odyssey 4 and Rune Factory 4 to justify my 3DS purchase.

Maybe when they're cheap. No immediate interest right now.

In about two years It should have a pretty decent library and be cheap. That gives Devs time to learn how to use the Touch screen pad to improve the games too.

Maybe. It really depends on what kind of games get released for it. If there's no exclusives that interest me (like right now), then I won't bother picking it up. Although, since this is Nintendo, they probably will have a few games that I will really want within a couple of years. So basically, I'll probably get it eventually, but I'm sure as hell not getting one now.

I'll probably cave at some point and pick on up, but before that happens, the price has to dro and a load of games I want to play are out for it. I'll have a proper look at it when the next Zelda is out. But the price of the games needs to drop too, looking at the prices in a local Gamestation, the big titles were touching £60. Bollocks to that (unfortunately I can see all next gen games clocking in at that price).

I plan to. I love the first party titles, and enough usually come out to justify the system. Plus it's the only next-gen system I'm actually interested in. Microsoft's current trends are not giving me a load of confidence for the NextBox, and the PS3 gave me too many problems to be exited for the PS4. All three systems have had a lot of problems, but between the more indie-friendly eShop, the better online service, the more standard controllers (the gamepad is just a 360 controller with a screen in it, and the option of the Pro controller), Nintendo really seems to be the only one actually trying to fix what was wrong with their previous machine. At least so far.

Between a WiiU and getting a better laptop, I'll be good for next gen.

Maybe if most of the good games are playable with the normal controller, instead of the gimmicky touch screen thing.

I already own one. Haven't really used it seeing as how nothing that's even out for it interests me.

When it meets my quota of games that I want and can't play on a system I already on, then I'll get it.
