Alright the ever loved holy rock star know as President Obama has removed the heads of GM and replaced them with one Lawyer and guy that quit going to school to join Obamas campaign and is a nothing, one is a banker and finally a economic analysis so basically a bean counter.

Now not a signal one of them has any experience in manufacturing, automotive or even working with tools.

To be fair I will note that the head of Ford did not have any experience with automotive industry when he started, but he is an engineer and worked in aeronautics with Boeing.

I would like to say that if they let the company do their OWN FRICKING HIRINGthen they might have someone appropriate.

Also, a quick spellcheck o' the OP and the title would be in order.

Good idea. They hired the last guy, and he did really well!

Turst is an awesome word. I imagine it to be some sort of German food.

On a more serious note, I'm not particularly fussed. Just read what mentor said.

I think thats what got them into trouble in the first place.

Ontopic: There are entire teams of economist and people who know what they are doing on obamas team working this situation out, im sorry if your opinion on the matter doesnt exactly make you sound like you know what youre on about. You are enetitled to that opinion of course just like im entitled to disagree with you.
I will not fight you over that.

The quality of the last executive's performance has no bearing on the qualifications of the government to select new ones. This suggests that a). the board has no capacity to learn from its mistakes and b). any different party who selects a new executive is better just by virtue of being a different party. There's no logical support for that.

Look at it this way.

Can they do it any worse than GM's previous management?

Or the one before that, or the one before them...
