I know this has probably been talked about a few times but after reading this article ( http://uk.news.yahoo.com/38/20110415/tsc-scientists-make-teleportation-breakt-98fda55.html ) I thought I would ask you guys what you think.

Lets face it, if there were no consequence, it would be 100% yes, however, there could be.
It is believed to teleport your cells must be cloned, destroyed and then reassembled at a different place. So your clone you would think that nothing has happened when really your dead (bad times :( ).

If this type of teleportation was available to you, would you use it?

(Yes my homepage is Yahoo, what of it?)

No, I wouldn't.

I guess I'm paranoid that we're going to enter some sort of apocalyptic age due to technology soon (too. much. sci-fi.) and would quite like to be one of the people not left zombiefied after the teleporter is infected with a virus.

I prefer the fun of the journey as much as I would that of the destination. So I will say no, and stick with the more old fashioned forms of travel.

I would, if there were no consequences, such as me being killed... even though my molecular structure might be re-made, if I died as a result I would say unequivocably no, and that's to being the first human guinea pig for it as well.
