They did, either last week or the week before that. Funk is the residant WoWfanboy (I'm sure he'll admit to that), He wouldn't let news like this pass him by.

Also, never played WOW but idea like this usually blow, hardcore.

It's a really dumb idea. They should make it a free option, and only on servers where there is a faction imbalance.

This one seems stupid, really:

So, no Horde Gnomes and stuff. It's not a faction change, really; it just switches characters, really... sort of. I think.

It's good, in a way.
If you REALLY Want to progress in endgame now i suppose there's one fewer hurtle to hop if a really good raiding guild has an opening for you.

This. So if you have, for example, a Blood Elf Paladin, you would have the choice of Draenai, Human, or Dwarf, i.e the races that can be Paladins.

I have a question, If you did all the quests in like hellfire as an orc,
Then would you have to do hellfire again as a human?
If so this is almost gold selling....
