I dont know when this actually happened but I'm guessing it was recent since it was the main story on Good News Week.

Anyway, here is the gist. There is a food festival in New Zealand where from my understanding they try to out do each other each year, like scorpian milk shakes and stuff.

But during the last one they actually served

different flavours were avaliable.

Ok i can understand scorpians and jelly fish being eaten. They are animals etc. I can even live with the occasional sheep you guys enjoy. But why go flavoured... you know.

Can anyone enlighten me to how you go from scorpian milkshakes to that extreme. Or am i just an imbred uncultured swine who wouldnt know fine food if slapped me in the face.

Well somehow logic tells me that it shouldnt be more disgusting than eating eggs.And there are manly cowboy dudes in texas eating bull testicles. So every country has its strange ideas.

I won't judge, especially considering I have no idea how it might taste.

Look at it this way - milk is a bodily fluid that comes from the tit of a farm animal, honey is basically bee vomit, the contents of an egg are fluids meant to protect and nourish an embryo. All of these things are delicious. I think semen is only shocking because of the sexual connotations. Who knows, might be tasty.

It's a wild foods festival they have on the West coast of the South Island every year. Rest assured that horse semen is not a traditional cultural activity over here. I guess they just like to have the weirdest things they can find. You can just imagine the poor guy who gathers it though.
